Welcome to Hart Taekwon-Do, a premier martial arts academy located in Henderson, West Auckland. As an active member of the International Taekwon-Do Foundation of New Zealand (ITKD), we adhere to high standards of training and competition. Our club has a proud history of success, with members achieving top placements in national and international tournaments, including significant achievements at the ITF World Championships.

We cater to a wide range of students through our diverse class structure. For our youngest members, we offer TKD Kubz (ages 4-6) to inspire great behavior and social interaction, and Mini-Kids (ages 5-8), where children learn the full syllabus tailored to their developmental stage. Older students and beginners alike can join our Junior Class or advance through the ranks in our Senior Class, which covers everything from green belt to black belt levels. Additionally, we offer a Fitness Class suitable for anyone looking to improve their physical health, regardless of martial arts experience.

Our team is led by Mrs. Debbie Hart, 6th Dan, the founder and head instructor, who brings decades of experience and a visionary approach to teaching. She is supported by a highly qualified team, including Assistant Instructor Mr. Mike Rail and Specialist Instructor Master Matthew Breen, an 8th Dan who has trained under the founder of Taekwon-Do. Our instructors are not just teachers; they are mentors dedicated to helping every student reach their potential.

Negative experience: Very unorganised, not enough instructors. A class of 15 showed up with only one instructor and with rude parents talking throughout made it very difficult to watch and for the kids to listen.

Fantastic experience: I've been training at Hart TKD for a few years now along with my 8 year old son, and we both love it. Great instructors, excellent facilities, and it is an awesome sport and martial art. If you are looking for a West Auckland martial arts club, this is the place.
