Snap Fitness 24/7 Takanini

Negative experience: Poor customer service. I visited this morning to have a look around, but was completely ignored by the female trainer on duty. I was left standing for quite some time and before a member had to open the door for me. The bathroom was also dirty. Better multitasking and customer awareness would help avoid losing potential customers.

Fantastic experience: Made communications with Julia about short term admissions to the gym while on holiday, she was super helpful and patient answering my questions over text and filled me in on a daily rate of $15 per day which you can use if you start you work out during staffed hours. Great Value and convenient!

Fantastic experience: Nice gym, & staff are friendly and approachable. Great selection of gym equipment for cardio and weights. I would recommend this gym to others in the area. My favourite part is that it’s only a short drive from my house so I’ve really got no excuse to miss out on exercise.

Fantastic experience: Have loved Snap Fitness Takanini so far, wonderful Staff and a really clean Gym. Nice and small so it doesn't end up super crowded. Decent prices also - love the available cold water, showers, toilets, and biodegradable disinfectant wipes. Super cool.

Fantastic experience: Most of the equipment is awesome. Could do with a mop in the shower like my usual snap does. The mats are looking a bit tired and some of the kettle bells. Staff were awesome and helpful

Negative experience: This place is small and the fineprint will scam you. Also noticed that these 5 star reviews are for Mount Roskill AND Takanini. Suspicious, seeing as the new manager works for both places. Get it together, its not looking pretty. :)

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. New Manager Daniel has been very helpful and in communication is quick and easy. Recently they have new personal trainers and are always happy to help.

Negative experience: beaware of their term and conditions,These guys are crook, membership fees was 17.99 but they chanrge $ 19.45 .$1.50 transaction fees for a direct debit who does that? .also after completing your one year contract if you wants to cancel they still charge you 4 week fees . Beaware of these people they will never tell you these terms and conditions when you first enquiry, hide these details in micro prints.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Snap Fitness Takanini for more than 3 years. Their staff are helpful, friendly and approachable. Trainers are professional and always help me with my exercise. Their direct debt payments are easy and efficient, never had issues with payment. Equipments are nice and tidy. Your local gym, highly recommended

Negative experience: THE WORST GYM EVER!! They will make leaving this gym the most frustrating and impossible thing for you. They barely respond to emails but are quick to threaten with the debt collectors. They overcharged me and told me to comeback when someone else is in, and then made me feel like the bad person for demanding to be paid back. I haven't even been refunded my money. This gym is a scam and the management is worse. Don't ever come here, they only care about money and will try do anything they can to overcharge.

Negative experience: RECOMMENDED. Great place to get unprofessional, rude and immature customer service. Visited the gym to cancel my membership after lockdown in nov-dec. The new manager max had no idea about my membership type as there were some changes to membership etc post lockdown. We agreed to put my account on hold meanwhile he would get in touch with someone from old management to sort out my issue. No answer in 2 weeks then i decided to follow up by email twice where in one he asked “can you refresh my memory brother” (real professional manager ). I replied with my full name but there was no answer for another 1 and a half months while they had started charging me again. I contact them today via call and spoke to Summer. Discussed everything again and stated my disappointment with the services. She suggest something to sort it out by saying thats all i can do at this time mate. She got impatient somehow and said like i explained to you twice already. To which i can only feel sorry for her if she is not getting paid enough to do what you are supposed to do. Anyways, have requested her to cancel my membership immediately and also to send my contract via email so i can read through it again as i doubt their work ethics. Hope i dont have to wait for another couple months for getting my contract in my email.

Positive experience: All good gym to join - I didn't really give it much of a go but have seen the new set up (looks much better), its a bit cluttered but no long waits for machines so no worries

Fantastic experience: I love my snapfitness in Takanini. The trainers are motivating and helpful. The space is great if you go at quiet times. I avoid going at peak hours just because there is limited space and use of machines at later times
