Negative experience: Not very clean, no one wipes down the machines, expected to do it yourself with the dettol wipes provided. But be careful, as they sign you up for a debit success account, if you fall short of a cent when they take payment, they charge an additional $15 on top of that. They re-attempt this payment a second time so its subtly taken out without you realising. So you end up actually paying $35 per week for your membership, when mine should have been $20 a week. I would have preferred someone notified me at least that a payment has not gone through (whatever reason) and allowed me to make payment of my $20, as opposed to being stung an additional $15. p.s if your payment does not go out the second time, thats when they notify you, not before hand. Considering escalating this to the commerce comms.

Fantastic experience: Music, PTs and equipment are all AWN 24/7 swipe card access, free+fairly secure parking & affordable membership prices even for my student budget. The staff made me feel really welcome so I’d definitely recommend this place for fellow anxiety havers. They have an open balcony space so it’s also the BEST smelling gym too lol! I (half jokingly) asked if I could bring a picture of my ex to use as target practise on the boxing bags & they said go for it! Whatever motivates ya! I won’t do that but it’s lovely to feel supported Bless them up!

Fantastic experience: I have joined this gym recently and so far everything has been great! The staff are friendly and made the joining process very easy. I had my free pt session with Rawiri today and it was amazing! He listened to me/my needs and circumstances then guided me through equipment/ workouts to best achieve my goals. I am so glad I decided to joing and looking worward to my gyn journey here also all the other members I have met at the gym are very friendly and welcoming which makes starting going to the gym that little bit less daunting.

Fantastic experience: Been with premiere for years now and I can’t see myself moving. Solid equipment, kind workers, positive and uplifting environment, and cool members. Definitely a hidden gem that deserves all the recognition

Fantastic experience: My husband and I first joined Premier 4 years ago and had a great experience - then life got in the way, and we fell off our health journey and ended our membership. Then after getting back into it and trying a few other gyms, we always found ourselves comparing them to Premier and PF being the better option. We've now been back at PF for over a year, and it's been fantastic! The equipment is well-maintained, and the overall environment is great. We do skip using the shower facilities as they are a bit small, but that’s probably just more our personal preference. Has always been clean and tidy. Overall, we're happy to be back and would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic experience: For me it's the location, convenience and price. I'm new to all of this, this facility ticked all the boxes I needed which is why I signed up. No lock in contracts which I like incase circumstances change. Great variety of equipment, and all round a great vibe.

Negative experience: Very poor communication, I started last year november, called so many times to cancel my membership and was willing to pay the fee of $150 dollars, no answers no response, I’m still paying for my membership and no one has gotten back

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Everyone is super friendly, the new owners are also great and have great communication :) Have chosen to move to a gym closer to home recently and they made cancelling our membership super easy and was done within 2 days.

Negative experience: My daughter has been trying to cancel her membership since April ‘22 - was extended without her consent due to COVID (not her fault). After April phone call where they said “Instead of paying a $100 cancellation fee keep paying your normal membership fee for 8 weeks and then payments will be stopped and membership cancelled . We will also follow up with an email confirming this call.” No follow up email, no cancellation after 8 weeks so I email back in August (16 weeks after phone call) where they say “We will follow this up ASAP!” It’s now October, no follow up and she’s still paying for a membership she no longer wants! Would not recommend this gym…absolutely TERRIBLE communication!! Not Happy At All!!

Negative experience: Signed up with this Gym in August 2021 , I have recently asked to cancel my membership I have emailed more than once and I have received no helpful response yet I’m still getting charged. The worst customer service , they have all the time in the world to post on social media but cant respond to a simple email. Getting sick of it! Shocking customer service!

Negative experience: Waiting for my membership to end. To the previous owner, he biggest thing for me was the service and maintenance of the gym. It was okay in the beginning but during my time as a member, these two areas needed(s) ATTENTION. I think some fitness equipment is attention and is outdated. However, I must say though, I notice a change at the gym and I definitely can see the new owner is making improvements. I noticed a spoke to the owner, at the time I didn't realize, and gave props to him. I'm honestly hoping the best for him, and I guess, small steps but surely. Here's hoping. I checked out the City Fitness in Ormiston and I was very impressed. Hygiene and Gym equipment was on point. Equipment was awesome. Spray bottles galore, which is awesome especially under this Covid situations. However, things are not guaranteed with variants. Especially that area. you are guaranteed, equipment will be maintained or customers will complain and advise. Now, I'm not one to complain but I do have an eye and would assume what customers would expect.

Negative experience: Very Poor Communication. I was charged early termination fee. After 3 weeks of communication btw emails( They never pick up phone calls., replies after 3 /4 days) they said because of Covid they extended my contract without my consent which I wasn't aware and no one communicated this to me. They have been pushing this matter as it was debit success issue. Still chasing them with no resolution. I wouldn't recommend this gym. From the reviews I can see its just not me.

Negative experience: Two years ago I gave this gym 5 stars for excellent service. But since the change of ownership this gym degraded to scummy practices. I had my membership cancelled 6 months ago, only to discover recently that they had kept charging me. I have called the gym several times only to jump hoops. I was told to call DebitSuccess, which wasn't my responsibility to do, only for them to tell me that the refund can only be actioned by the gym. At least DebitSuccess did tell me that the gym had not actioned my cancellation until this Monday when I called again. Everytime I have called only for the staff to tell me that the owner will call me to discuss the refunds. I want all my money back that they've taken from me, no one should have to pay for the gym's screw ups. It seems I'm not the only one having this issue with this gym, judging from the reviews.

Negative experience: Under new ownership, definitely do not recommend. Warning do not sign up, owner is absolutely horrible and swears at his customers! Definitely don’t recommend.

Negative experience: Extremely poor gym. Small, old equipment, poor ownership/management. Cancelled my membership only to find out i was still paying. Attempted to communicate the circumstances of the situation to the now new owner only to get hung up on and sworn at over the phone. Disgusting behaviour really. Dont waste your time here. Plenty of other better quality gyms in the area.

Negative experience: Have emailed and called multiple times to cancel my membership and stop taking payments out of my account. This was in April. It is now June and there is still debit success payments coming out. Extremely suspicious and I strongly suggest anyone else that has this issue to contact their bank and report it.

Negative experience: This has recently been under new ownership. Very poorly managed. I had cancelled my subscription and submitted my Key tag on February. But until today my credit card is still being charged weekly . When I emailed premier fitness, he mentioned that I did not confirmed via email, while infact the agreement cleary stated that I cancel by coming to the office straight. Just be careful next for others out there.

Fantastic experience: Quick & easy sign up. Has a great selection of machines, free weights, functional equipment & cardio equipment. Best gym I've been to in Auckland. Could do with a bit more lower weight dumbbells for the ladies but it's no biggy. Definitely recommend if you're into getting a serious workout. Equipment & bathrooms are clean. Pretty quiet in the mornings.

Fantastic experience: What a gym! Facilities are sleek and newly renovated, the bathrooms are amazing and the gym is always kept in tip-top condition! I'm a beginner to exercise but felt really welcomed in the gym and supported as I learned how to use the equipment. Love it!

Fantastic experience: Good equipment. Fantastic bathroom / shower facilities. Very clean at the times and days that I visit. Plenty of free car parking. Supplement offering is mediocre. It appears to be the best gym option in the greater neighbourhood area. Current owner has made significant improvements over the years and is present and approachable. Open 24/7. Personal trainers are friendly and are not high pressure. Equipment overall is new.

Fantastic experience: New young owner making it a sharp gym. Must say new showers and changing area is the best I've seen around east and south Auckland . Gym has all the gear for beginners and advance. I've been on trial for 3 days and I decided to join after looking up 4 different gyms. Member's are also pretty relaxed and friendly. Plenty of parking available.
