Negative experience: The owners ability to manage conflict fairly is a joke. Very unprofessional- if you want to be bullied go to Club Physical.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for the 'winners+1' membership with my husband. Me and my husband were very satisfied. In particular, the free kids club is a very good service for mothers with young children. The staff were always bright and friendly. Sadly, I am leaving this place because of the move, but it was a great time and I want to say thank all the staff. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Club Physical in Birkenhead is such a great gym. Very clean, plus it has a sauna. I remember joining the gym back in 2019 and Vin (now the manager) is the one who signed me up. It’s really nice to go to a gym where staff are so kind, caring and welcoming. It makes a big difference. Thank you Vin and team for being so fabulous! Five stars from me! Also to add, during lockdowns I appreciated the fact that Club Physical was able to pause memberships unlike some other gyms around. It was very thoughtful. Thank you CP Birkenhead.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to club physical for over a year now, and I have been amazed by the friendly staff, easy to use/quantity of machines, and even how nice the other people are in the gym! The trainers are amazing at incentivisng you to become your better self and keeping you trying your hardest! 10/10

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience in Club Physical Birkenhead . I joined Club Physical Birkenhead June 2020 as Winners Plus One membership. According to my contract, a 10 days of notice period applies if I want to terminate or cancel the membership. I wrote to Club Physical Birkenhead 30 Nov 2021 to show my desire to discontinue my membership. I had thought this cancellation won't go into effect until 10 days later and I can finished all my rest 3 personal classed in these 10 days. However, I received from the club on 1 Dec 2021 that my contract was terminated. I was shocked that Club Physical Birkenhead did not follow the contract of 10 days notice period. I went to Club Physical Birkenhead 4th Dec 2021 and met Vin who said he was the manager and he refused to let me go inside and he said that the only way I can go into the gym is to have a new contract with Club Physical Birkenhead. I complained by writing email to the owner and said they should follow the contract to give a 10 days notice period but the result was the same. I am thinking to complain to a higher level.

Negative experience: Very rude ...unprofessional....if you are going to this gym you are making a really big mistake and I've been to many gyms and the 1 for birkenhead has warren as manager and is so bloody rude with no respect .I recommend other gyms but the 1 at birkenhead (club physical )is a no go .hope this helps people .

Negative experience: Extremely poor service - Won't reckon to anyone - Used Gym for less than 3 months- paid $49 + weekly $20 . On top of that Charged a $29 club improvement annual fee - refused to refund even though nowhere in the contract says its non - refundable-- Don't know why these gyms overcharging this much weekly when you get a better service and quality gym around from $7 a week. Specialty of Birkenhead branch - Old machines , No air condition and a rude manager - very few locations and $20 /week --If you got stick to a contract then tough luck :(

Fantastic experience: The staff are very friendly and taking a good care ❤ of everybody. Its good during this covid time the staff has always priorities the well-being of their customers. I will always recommend CLUB PHYSICAL BIRKENHEAD to all my friends.

Negative experience: Twice over the last year my wife has been in to view this gym and both times she left feeling pressured by staff to provide personal information that should not have been asked for (she was told by both staff that she could not view the gym until she had provided all of her details, including full name, phone number, address, email address, and other irrelevant information to view, and so she was forced to do this), and after she had done this was pressured to join. She felt intimidated and unhappy by the experience and told them she had decided to view some other gyms and would not be joining Club Physical but since then she has received promotional texts regularly for the last year despite her calling them to request her number and details be taken off the database, and staff telling her that they had?! Unprofessional. Unfortunately for the gym they directly lost 3 potential members - myself, my wife and our teenage son. We also tell everyone who is looking for a good gym to avoid this one for the reasons mentioned above. They are also missing essential equipment that every good gym has. We joined another gym. This is not the USA guys!! Kiwis do not respond well to the hard sell. Learn from it and your gym might survive the recession.
