Positive experience: Cluster Fitness: What a cluster. Cluster Fitness operates like a one-man band consignment, lacking stock, a proper store or reliable customer service. After waiting for five months, none of my multiple orders have been fulfilled properly. One order, which was all in stock, I personally drove all the way to Auckland to pick it up due to shipping incompetence. The customer service is practically nonexistent. I reached out several times for a shipping refund on the order I collected myself and to check on my other orders. I got no reply—just silence. The equipment I have received so far – squat rack and weights – is of good quality and great. But here’s the kicker: when you’re investing a significant amount of money in gym equipment, responsive customer service matters. And in Cluster Fitness’s case, it’s a zero star service. There's only a generic email to contact, and getting a response feels like pure luck. If you’re considering buying from them, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Rogue Fitness Australia offers reliable equipment and, more importantly, competent customer support. Note: My original review several months ago was 1 star, but I’ve changed it to 3 stars because I eventually received my equipment. However, the delivery far exceeded the advertised lead times, and I had to chase them down to swap item colors due to stock issues. Despite this, I never received a refund for the shipping.
Negative experience: As previous reviewers have said, Cluster has absolutely terrible customer service. I placed an order in November during their black friday sale and elected to pick up my items, only to be told that one of the items I ordered (a pull up bar to fit my rig) was not available but would be sent out to me as soon as possible. I have followed up multiple times and despite receiving a few replies apologising and promising to rectify the matter, I am still yet to receive my item. The last contact I had was over a month ago when I was asked for my address so the bar could be sent. I provided this straight away but have still not received it. I have since been completely ignored by the sales team when I have followed up yet again. As others have said, my advice would be to avoid Cluster Fitness and purchase fitness equipment elsewhere. It is not worth the hassle dealing with this incompetent company. Update: I received an email about rectifying this issue on 28/05/24, after I posted this review. Since then, there has been no further correspondence or updates from the company. My opinion of the company and their customer service has not changed. This whole process has been a complete waste of time and effort.

Negative experience: Products are good enough (although the triangular inserts in the corners of the pull up bar is puzzling, kind of reduces it to a one person bar), but after sales support (or even basic communication) is terrible. Purchased handful of Black Friday sale items for the house. Waited several weeks for shipment but nothing happened - surprisingly when I made contact a partial shipment happened almost immediately (but with zero reply from them). Continued to wait months for remainder of the purchase (only palm guards at this point), and emailed several times for an update, only to be completely ignored. As you would imagine palm guards are things you do not want to wait 5 months for so I was forced to purchase from elsewhere - emailed these people again to cancel the remainder of the order and to my shock and surprise I was ignored, again. Honestly the complexities and difficulties of typing out a simple email to customers is clearly something I fail to understand.

Negative experience: Brought a rig 5months ago(was meant to be a 10-12week turn around) and still no idea how long or when its ready cause no one replies. They keep saying 3-4weeks But still nothing.
Positive experience: Our most recent purchase was the wall mounted chin-up bar, the bar itself is a great size, we love it. however the concrete anchors supplied weren't the best and pulled out of the concrete. We changed out the anchors to some higher quality anchors that open into the concrete better and now it feels very stable.
Negative experience: I was asked for honest review so here it is. In December we ordered a rig and we were quoted 8-10 weeks waiting time. 12 weeks later without any communication at all I emailed the customer service asking about my order and was told it was another 3-4 weeks. Fast forward to middle of May and again without any communication I reached our again.. I was told they were going to chase it down ( that is 5 months after I put my order through ).. its the end of May and I am still waiting for this imaginary rig to show up and starting believe that it probably won't happen at all.. definitely wouldn't recommend this company to anyone who actually wants to receive their goods. And customer service is one of the worst I have ever come across..
Positive experience: I ordered the competition kettlebells and got the cheaper version. I was annoyed but fine, I understand these things happen. Once I made contact with Cluster the new kettlebells were sent and return postage provided for cheaper version. Understand this was during a change of 3PL provider.
Positive experience: I recently bought a cluster massage gun from cluster fitness. I wanted to buy a massage gun that was backed by a fitness company, because I knew it would be good. And it is. Thank you cluster for a really great product. This gun is smaller than the BIG ones on the market, but packs a really good punch, aiding in my pain relief from recent surgery. I recommend the help and assurance of cluster fitness to anyone wanting to purchase good products. Thank you.

Negative experience: Poor quality gear it broke after 6 months of use and they made it impossible to repair or get it sorted. Don't waste your money with these guys with cheap gear.

Negative experience: so I've ordered online 2.5 kg increment weights from them 2weeks ago and have had no shipping updates from them which I have emailed them twice which they state they will reply within 48hrs but have had no contact and can't seem to find a phone number to contact them how strange. they take my money and leave me waiting like a fool. bad service about to cancel my order...

Positive experience: Great quality universal rack 2.0 - I believe it is exactly the same as the rogue 2.0 rack and it shows. 11 Gauge construction. I have about 700kg on and it’s bulletproof. The flat racks are far more versatile than standard Dumbell ones.
Negative experience: Poor customer service. No shipping updates in the face of lengthy delays. Was told 8-12 weeks. No response to emails. Spoke by phone after 13 weeks and was told to expect another 8-12 weeks. Just not good enough.

Negative experience: Terrible experience, weights rack came with parts that wouldn’t line up so couldn’t be assembled (I was asked to get metal worker to straighten), had to wait 5 months for order to be fully delivered. Customer service was terrible, had to chase all the time. Products are good (apart from quality of rack) but overall the experience dealing with Cluster was horrible.

Fantastic experience: There was a long delay due to lockdowns globally, but the staff were always friendly and kept me in the loop. The quality of the Gym equipment was even better than I had anticipated. I was surprised at how stable the half power rack was as I was able to perform gymnastic movements without it swinging around! I am already eyeing up even more gear to purchase from Cluster!
Fantastic experience: Dene is amazing and helped me through many challenges. He is the only gym that i know that has proactively supported all his members through this covid with gear and classes. He is very knowledgeble and will get you the results you want.

Fantastic experience: Ordered a stack of gear from here because the value proposition was good. Was a little unsure about what to expect from the Multi-functional squat rack. What I got exceeded my expectations. Solid, sturdy and everything else I've had from there is exceptionally high quality. Had a bit of a hiccough when they sent the wrong seat for my bench (which didn't fit) and the J Cups weren't in the box, but I flicked an email through as soon as I realised and the business apologised, sent me the J Cups & Bench seat and it literally arrived within 48 hours - impressive considering Hamilton was in lockdown at the time. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend when looking to deck out your home gym with functional fitness gear

Fantastic experience: Ordered an air bike from here. Estimated time on website was 8-16weeks. Arrived promptly at 8 weeks. Friendly staff were happy to provide timely updates whenever requested and answered all my questions and queries, even late at night. Pick up was simple the day after it arrived and the bike is excellent quality.

Fantastic experience: Cluster Fitness were great to deal with, all equipment arrived in line with the timings they provided. I ordered an Olympic bar, hex bar, plyobox, squat rack and some training bumper plates. All items still look brand new and I've been using them for over a month now. The knurling on the bars is excellent for grip and the squat rack is super sturdy for a freestanding item. High quality gear and excellent service.

Fantastic experience: I found the cluster team really easy to deal with, informative and they are really on top of it with communication. From a price point of view I was really impressed. The whole set up that we’ve purchased looks aesthetically pleasing and I wish I’d done it sooner as I’ve spent so much on gym memberships and this is a much better investment for me. Cannot wait for the home gym to arrive!!
