I came in with a rhomboid issue where he gave me manageable exercises as well as great sessions of massages. Their facility is also lovely and clean. Gemma is a very personable and knowledgable physio. In a world where there is a plethora of physio it is often hard to pick out the stars, Gemma is a hero, one of the "goodies", I highly recommend Gemma as a physio.

More recently Esther treated me and was amazing, two visits to her was all I required. Fantastic experience: Visited several of the excellent physiotherapists at the Urban Physio (chose randomly for a time that worked) but saw Reuben for multiple follow up appointments and he gave me plenty of exercises, stretches, and advice to aid my problem in the long term. Even listened to classical music while being massaged. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Installations are also very good and very well located.

Fantastic experience: Casey Irving solved months of dizziness, headaches and fatigue. Doctors were stumped, and it turns out all I needed were a couple of intense trigger-point massages.

Fantastic experience: Injured my shoulder at work, and The Urban Physio was able to get me an appointment straight away. Reuben has been working with me in rehabbing my shoulder and has done an outstanding job. Within 6 weeks of my injury Reuben was able to get me back in the gym and back to normal duties at work pain free! I highly recommend The Urban Physio and Reuben. After suffering from persistent pain on my left side—specifically in my neck, shoulder, and down my arm—I tried massages, but nothing provided relief. That's when I decided to see Reuben. Just one session made a significant difference, and now, six weeks later, I'm thrilled to report I'm back to 100%. Reuben was incredibly thorough, explaining everything in detail and providing a progressive regimen of exercises that he carefully tailored each week. Fantastic experience: I have been treated by Esther. She is a wonderful, knowledgeable and kind physio. She picked up about my posture causing me my problem which other physios missed. She is accommodating and a good listener. She has encouraged me and given me exercises which work to keep my back healthy in the future. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Urban Physio. I've been seeing Catherine and she is very experienced and a fantastic physio. My planta fascia pain dramatically improved after just one session. She knows what muscles to work! She is very comprehensive with her treatment which has been amazing. She referred me to get an ultrasound so we knew exactly the problem and after those results she is sending me to a foot specialist. I am so thankful she is trying to get my foot 100% better as soon as possible.

Fantastic experience: Pretty sure I had the best experience working with Esther! I came in with a pretty severe injury and angry body but with her help she got me back up and running and doing the sports I love in no time. Her caring and professional approach did not get missed. Fantastic experience: Tayla was amazing! the experience from the moment I stepped through the door to the moment I left was wonderful. Your systems are easy peasy, the girls I experienced were caring and lovely natured (Tayla and receptionist) and even considering that I may need to leave with water was the icing on the cake. Tayla literally relieved all my pain, thankfully just some inflammation and jarring from my falls and I feel so much better than I did before! An incredible business and great team!

My consult was with Gemma and it was one of the best I’ve had - she was so thorough and knowledgeable. My crook neck was fixed and also shared tools to help beyond the session.

Fantastic experience: I went to urban physio because I’d hurt my leg running and just resting it wasn’t helping. I was so lucky I got Gemma as my physio. She is amazing! She spent ages in the first session getting to the root of the problem and then taking about how we could fix it which was so useful and within 4 sessions I’ve been cured! She did dry needling, massage and some reformer Pilates which is so much more than I expected. Gemma’s also incredibly personable and really lovely so overall it was a great experience, would recommend (although wouldn’t recommend hurting your leg)

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Urban Physio, and I was treated by Gemma, and I have to say that I was very pleased with the consultation. My comments are: 1. Parking was easy. 2. The receptionist was very welcoming and polite and got me to fill in the necessary forms online. 3. Gemma was one of the best Physio's I have come across. She was thorough with her examination and explained very well what she considered the issue to be with neck. She used several books and diagrams to show what the issue was and how she was going to treat me, which involved massage, heat and dry needling, 4. She was very professional, capable and very easy to communicate with. 5. I came out of the session feeling better and confident that Gemma would resolve the issue. I would highly recommend Urbin Physio and in particular Gemma.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Gemma by a friend after having a gym injury. She was amazing with the treatment and gave me some very useful exercises to do at home which I now incorporate into my daily routine.

Fantastic experience: In doing the Te Araroa, a 3000km thru hike in New Zealand, I got injured and ended up at Tayla. I could book an appointment the same day I emailed them. Tayla was very friendly and took all the time needed asking the right questions to first understand the problem. After running some tests she quickly found out what the cause of the injury was. Thereafter she treated the injury and explained me very clear and into detail what exercises I needed to do to treat the injury myself, so I’m able to continue my journey. Although I haven’t continued my hike yet, her explanation seemed very logical and I have great confidence that she offered me the right treatment. Thanks Tayla!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. I have been seeing Catherine for over a year now, she takes the time to listen to what the issues are and changes up the treatmeants as required. Clinic is clean and fresh and is in a great central location with parking which is always a bonus!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Ala enough! I came in with multiple calf and knee issues from running. Ala was super friendly and knowledgeable, and was able to find exercises and a treatment plan both in and out of our sessions to manage my injuries while allowing me to continue training. When I came in I couldn't run a mile without pain, but after a few months of working with Ala I was able to complete a 60km ultramarathon pain free! Overall a great experience and I'm really grateful for having found such a great physio.

Fantastic experience: The Urban Physio's longer appointments allow time for treatment and supervised reformer exercises. I very much appreciate the thoroughness of the consultation with Casey. It was not a straightforward leg injury, and it was her communication skills and her persistence, which finally got results. She provides targeted exercises and guidance throughout recovery.

Fantastic experience: I see Div and she is an absolute angel!!! She's always so sweet and helpful, and she's a goddess with her hands when it comes to massaging out my neck/shoulders. She does the reformer pilates and it has helped so much, within like a week or two of it and at-home exercises, I was nearly pain free. She is absolutely amazing and I'd give her 10 stars if I could

Fantastic experience: Today is my last session with Divashni Kumar, she has done an amazing job helping me recover from quite a bad torn calf . Div was very friendly and came up with great ideas to improve my strength in my calf. Her sessions was a great mix of calf message and exercises to strengthen my calf .. happy to recommend her and urban physio.

I've received injury treatment from Katie (she's since moved overseas) & more recently started treatment for another injury - knee related, with the wonderful Tayla. Both women have been incredibly personable, knowledgeable and I often find myself oversharing (I'm sure I'm not the only one). I'm always made to feel like they actually care about the person and not solely on the injury. I look forward to my visits with Tayla, and appreciate that she remembers our previous conversations & shows genuine interest and investment in not only managing/improving my injury but also in my overall wellbeing. Thanks Tayla & Team - service is 11/10. & I'll be an advocate always! P.s - their online booking system is so easy to use, and gives you clear options. You can usually book a last minute appointment for the same day or the very next day, which is so unusual in this day and age.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to Urban Physio well over a year ago now with multiple injuries from rock climbing and running. I had about lost hope however Leon listened to me sorted a 2 year shoulder injury and can now say I am pain free! I have also attended Reformer Pilates with Tayla which I have thoroughly enjoyed and found helpful! I am now starting to run again and I can't thank the Urban Physio team enough. Thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Urban Physio. Leon is an absolute legend. I have been seeing Leon for a reoccurring knee and foot injury and without his help and guidance I wouldn’t be able to get back on the football field. Very professional and knowledgeable. Goes above and beyond to find a solution. Great chat and awesome taste in music. This morning I was in terrible pain and couldn’t put any pressure on my foot. 1 hour session later I’m walking without crutches and pain is manageable.

I have been suffering with a bad injury for 2 years causing severe pain, poor mobility, and terrible sleep. I came to Urban Physio for a massage to help relieve the pain/tension/stiffness of my back. Not only did Gemma reduce my discomfort dramatically with her manual therapy and acupuncture. She also discussed a physio plan that incorporated stretches, strength and reformer Pilates. I am now pain free. I have no back pain or stiffness, and heading towards getting stronger and strengthened in my core. Thank you Gemma and Urban Physio- you guys are the best!

Fantastic experience: As a runner, I often get little niggles. I have been going to the Urban Physio team for the past few years. They are technically excellent and very professional. It’s one of the few places I could find where all of the physiotherapists can dry needle (something my body responds very well to). My most recent injury, one that I am still working through has been a real tricky one. It required a bit of trial and error to figure out what my body needs to ‘fix’ the issue. I have been working with Katie Shaw. She is amazing, I love her passion and her enthusiasm - she keeps me going and motivated stay on track with my rehab. It took a couple of sessions to find out what works and I am so thrilled that I have seen a great response to my ‘homework’ and can start building my mileage back up. Katie has a genuine interest in getting people back to what they love doing. She goes the extra mile, keeping in contact when I am overseas to see how I am progressing. I highly recommend the Urban Physio team - also, they have parking on site - a real bonus in the heart of Auckland!

Fantastic experience: The Urban Physio came highly recommended to us. Friendly team and a beautiful practice. We see the lovely Casey, who is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and thorough, giving targeted exercises and a clear recovery plan. Also, great results for treating migraines. I am looking forward to starting the reformer Pilates from next week!
