Fantastic experience: Brilliant Dojo. Our young fella started at 4 after winning free sessions from Macaz. Emma and Kasius were extremely patient.. But also firm and persistent with him he learned to respect other adults, to listen, to follow instruction and persevere when things got tough. He's now 5 with a yellow belt/orange tip, focusing intently and trying his best to get his next belt. Highly recommend GKR to anyone!

GKR Karate offers a wonderful environment that caters to both kids and adults. Fantastic experience: My ADHD child lacked confidence, balance and coordination. GKR karate allows him to make progress in these areas. He doesn't need to be better than anyone else. He just has to be better than yesterday.

Fantastic experience: We started at Frankton dojo as a space for our energetic boy to learn skills and discipline and now have the whole family attending! It has been great for our children's confidence and physical fitness. For us older folk it has been a friendly and supportive group to learn new skills at your own pace and fitness level. The sensei are knowledgeable, friendly and patient with all students.

The instructors are very professional, engaging and knowledgeable I like how we have special classes and events that are giving back to community - e.g. pink belt (to raise breast cancer awareness), and purple belt ( to support those who experience domestic violence). Keep it up!

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoying training at GKR Frankton. I was unsure if it was the right thing for me at my age. (60 is way too close!!). I get to train at my pace and pushed (when I need it) to achieve more than I thought I could. I can honestly say that GKR is for everyone. There is such a diverse group of individuals from so many backgrounds, all coming together to improve their health, fitness, flexibility and to meet like minded individuals. If you’ve ever thought you’d like to give it a go… then do it now!!

My Nephew Suey has just graded to Yellow belt and has been attending GKR KARATE just over a month & loves it. My Kid loves his Karate classes he’s still a beginner but his body becomes stronger and more flexible due to regular exercises , he has made lovely friends & the older more advanced students all seem wounderful as they are like mentors to the younger ones.Such a Graat place as well. Fantastic experience: Frankton GKR karate is a fantastic and positive dojo with loads of support and discipline from the sense’s. My son and I have been attending Frankton for over a year and the skills and friendships we have learnt and gained are massive. This is a fantastic please for kids to learn self defence and a type of martial art. Thank you to sensei Cassius and Sensei Emma and all the other Sensei’s that put there time and effort into all of us. I highly recommend coming in and giving it a go. Everyone is like a family and very friendly and helpful to new beginners.

Both sensei were transparent about the process and love that they have patience and understanding for our young children who need that extra bit of encouragement to participant. Super excited for my children to experience what I did when I was a young child and super excited that this is something my family and I can enjoy together. It is also affordable for families and with so many options to train throughout the week it is also a plus as we can continue providing consistency for our children and do classes after work. Fantastic experience: This Dojo is a community. I went on holidays recently and my greatest concern was that I’d miss classes here for 2 weeks. Sensei keeps classes varied and fresh, and balances this excellently by ensuring we repeat the basics every time. As a wee female, it’s refreshing to train with all genders. It’s beneficial to have the option of practicing with those who are physically taller and stronger, in terms of building confidence in my own ability to actually defend myself. Also, the atmosphere, although respectful too, is bubbly. It’s just fun to practice martial arts with a lovely bunch of people, with great teachers/Sensei.

Fantastic experience: I have my 4 boys going to the night classes, It's affordable which is good. I thought I would only be able to pay for 2 of my boys to go, but i've got them all in there. The one we go to is the family class, 3 nights a week where the adults and their children can do their classes together if they want, I might join them in the near future. My boys are loving going to karate! They never want to miss a class. It's fun and inviting for them, they learn new skills each class and the sensei makes sure they're doing it right. They got their yellow tip last week and a certificate, now they're all excited and can't wait to get a yellow belt. The structure of each class and the discipline the sensei has for the class and children especially, is excellent! It's fun to watch my kids, and I love the chants too. It's like the karate movies. Real neat when you hear them for the first time. Amazing, five stars!!! I highly recommend this place.
