The Wellington Judo Academy is proudly one of the oldest martial arts clubs in New Zealand. Established in 1955, the Academy is still dedicated to the core values that we’ve held from the beginning; providing high quality instruction in the Japanese Martial Art of Judo to both skilled judoka and amateurs alike. The Wellington Judo Academy, is a great place for the whole family to practice Judo; a fantastic martial art. We offer the first four sessions free and without obligation for both kids (aged 4 and up) and adults, so it’s easy to give it a try. Whether you are a seasoned judoka looking to train, a newcomer to Martial Arts looking for some self-defense skills, or if you’re simply looking for a fun way to keep fit come along!

Fantastic experience: I started judo training as a senior last year November. I totally enjoyed the experience so far and looking forward to develop my fitness and skills. Very supportive instructors teaching from the start for safe entrance to judo world.
