Welcome to the Goju Ryu Karate Club Gisborne, where traditional Okinawan martial arts come alive! Our club is a proud member of the Traditional Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Federation in New Zealand, under the esteemed guidance of Higaonna Morio Sensei, a globally recognized practitioner.

Our training sessions take place every Monday and Wednesday from 5:15 PM to 6:45 PM during school terms. We invite enthusiastic participants aged 7 years and older, providing a welcoming environment for both young learners and adults alike. Each class is held at the Ilminster Intermediate School Gymnasium, conveniently located at 70 De Lautour Rd.
