Ngaruawahia Swimming Pool

Welcome to the **Ngaruawahia Swimming Pool**, a vibrant community aquatic facility managed by Waikato District Council and operated by **Belgravia Leisure NZ**. Located conveniently on Market Street in Ngaruawahia, this pool serves as a central hub for fitness, relaxation, and family fun in the heart of the Waikato region.

Our facility is designed to cater to swimmers of all ages and abilities. Whether you are looking to maintain your fitness with dedicated lap swimming, help your toddler overcome water fears, or simply enjoy a refreshing dip on a warm day, we have a space for you. The pool features separate areas for **learner and toddler swimming**, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for beginners, while longer lanes are available for experienced swimmers seeking a workout.

Beyond individual swimming, the Ngaruawahia Pool is a cornerstone of community engagement. We regularly host **special events** that bring the neighborhood together, such as community music nights with inflatable run challenges, and charitable initiatives like our **'Dog Day'** events, where families can enjoy the water with their well-socialized, vaccinated dogs. These events highlight our commitment to giving back, often partnering with local rescue organizations like the Waikato Pound Pups to fundraise and promote adoption.

Professional **swimming lessons** are offered through our partners at Belgravia Leisure NZ, providing structured programs for children and adults alike. With **subsidized entry fees** supported by the Ngaruawahia Community Board, we strive to keep aquatic recreation accessible and affordable for everyone. From casual spectators to competitive swimmers, the Ngaruawahia Swimming Pool is your local destination for health, happiness, and community connection.

Fantastic experience: Amazing to have such a great facility for our small town. The pools are well kept and so affordable!! It's budy on a hot summers dya but great to see it being used. It has a mini paddling pool for little ones, a medium sized pool and then the lap pool. We are so grateful to have a public pool available to use.
