Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed our time at the centre. The Sauna was wonderful & the staff were great. Meg was very friendly & welcoming & she showed us around the site & shared a bit with us about things to do in Ashburton. We wish Meg all the best with her career ahead, lovely lady with a big heart. We hope to see her again on our next visit to Ashburton. Was nice to meet up with her, she made our time at the pools memorable.

Negative experience: Got told off by this male lifeguard for wearing a bikini top and was told to cover up and dress appropriately, i was a minor and other people wear this same stuff

Negative experience: The life gaurds here are absolutely awfull. When the kids have swim lessons they kick the kids out afterwards and dont let them practice what they have just learned cause they to lazy to supervise them even tho im sure there paid regardless. Only experienced this at this pool complex. A real blemish on such a beautifull district.

Negative experience: Staff here seem to be allergic to answering their phones.

Positive experience: Gym, swimming pool, disc golf and a mini golf to come soon.

Positive experience: Very nice lane pool and spa pool. The noise level is quiet even though there were a lot of children there.

Fantastic experience: There are always pro's and con's for any facility depending on what your needs are. Sunday mornings for physio exercise is awesome for me but after work not so much. It would be nice to have the occasional adults only time with NO children at all but as above, you can't please everyone. We pick our times and hope for the best but for a smallish town, we should be proud of it and maybe some day there will be a move for an outdoor area.

Negative experience: will not take kids there anymore..first and the last.. staff keep coming up to us stopping us from having fun.. abit annoyed with them with all the rules they come up with every minute

Negative experience: Okay facility. As others have said it is too hot in summer. Would have been better with outdoor pool and hydroslide so there’s something for older kids to do or just anyone over 6. Not much indoor stuff to do for kids in Ashburton. Has a lot of potential to be made better.

Positive experience: Watching netball, the courts are pretty good. The pools are good, shame about the lack of hydroslides. Parking is brilliant and abundant. Sad the name does not let people know what the place is. A simple word like AQUATIC would make all the difference.

Negative experience: Kids cant do anything fun. Life guards stop them from doing everything. No board stacking. No junping onto boards. What a joke.

Negative experience: unpopular opinion (apparently) you shouldn’t be able to book every single playing court, including the ones outside for peewee netball

Positive experience: Really good facilities for the youngest to the oldest swimmer with plenty of pools to choose from for all abilities. No extra cost for spas or sauna. Downside is no hydro-slides or diving boards.

Fantastic experience: Would love it if you kept the pool open until 9pm like you used to! It’s hard coming after work from Methven before you close.

Positive experience: Love coming here, as it is very clean and the staff are always friendly. The only downside is that the children are not allowed in the spa, and the kid's area is really aimed towards quite little children. My two still really enjoyed all the equipment along the side that they could bring into the big pool, but my six-year-old did struggle... Was a little bit too old for the kid's area, too small for a big pool. I did like that there wasn't a multitude of swimming lessons on when we went light. There has been when we've tried to go 2 other places.

Fantastic experience: I go swimming here every day when i can, the staff are always super friendly. The one thing though is that when the sun in shining through the big glass windows it can be painful for the eyes but it's great here otherwise. It has a Gym, Cafe, Kids pools, wave pool, spa, sauna , a warm pool to hang out or aquasize in otherwise a big length pool if you want to do proper lengths. I love coming here when I can

Positive experience: Great set up for swim lessons and kids.Loved the Lazy River. Lanes for the lap swimmers too. Facility cleaners, go easy on the hose pipes in the disabled toilet. Every thing soaked including toilet paper which was rendered useless. Thanks

Positive experience: Went to the pools, front staff, friendly, pool was well staffed, noticed the life guards chat to each other alot, need to pay more attention.

Positive experience: Lots to like about this great community sports venue, all indoors. Large sports arena big enough for 4 netball courts, pools for 25m lane swimming and aqua exercise, gym for aerobic and weights exercises as well as classes. Large parking area and located close to the centre of town. Helpful team!

Positive experience: Lucky i like the ham that came in my powerbowl instead of the grilled chicken I was expecting! Fresh, crunchy and tasty, a generous serving. Enjoyed relaxing outside after a busy morning indoors.

Fantastic experience: Kids had a great time at EA Networks Centre! They loved the inflatable in the stadium and staff were constantly supervising and friendly. Pool had a huge range of activities and again staff were very safety conscious especially in the lap pool with the inflatable . Huge value for money with the combo deal. Happy family!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I just had a walk through the place the other day. It is really modern and tidy. It would be a great place to take the kids if you are looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon. The pool looks very nice and there are several different areas for swimming. There is also a little cafe to the right as you are walking into the building. To the left, there is a gym as well. If you haven't been here, I would say it's worth it to go explore this cool place.

Fantastic experience: An awesome place. Lots of options for exercise. A friendly team at the gym, pools and indoor and outdoor courts for a variety of sporting needs and an appealing coffee shop. Plenty of parking and handy to the cbd.
