Lots of machines to choose from,but you do need advise from someone in all aspects.every machine has an explanation on the side to show you what mussle group is targeted which helps. Very clean place and lovely staff. Parking is excellent

Fantastic experience: Handy to the city and suburbs. Good membership prices and easy parking undercover. Can also use membership at other city branches in Christchuch and other locations across NZ. Great when you are on holiday.

Positive experience: We're travellers and we did a lot of cityfitness and I think this one is the one I disliked the most. First when you came in.. the smell!! What happened here? Someone died? I can't run and breathe this smell. I'm out. And OMG why is it freezing in the changing room?

Fantastic experience: I usually hate gyms because I'm very self conscious of my weight, but the people I meet here never bring it up. They just ask me about my goals and how I'm going which is nice. It's quite big so it's easy to hide too if you are quite self conscious and the staff are super friendly.

Fantastic experience: Regular visitor, staff and clients all wonderful. Mike Gibson is my trainer I have had great results with him and will continue on this journey. Mike keeps me learning new exercises which keeps me keen and motivated.

Rhys offered to show me the facilities, explained thoroughly the operations of the gym's equipment and best plan suitable for myself/family. Not everyday you get to receive great customer service. Fantastic experience: The definitive CityFitness gym! Has everything. And it's large enough to cater for its laundry lisy of members (can't say the same about the other CityFitness clubs).

Fantastic experience: Essentially a giant space with mostly everything you’d need to get you in shape. It lacks some of the friendly touches of a small gym. But for the price, it’s a fair trade.

Granting o It can get really really busy if you go at peak times but because it's so huge you're normally still able to get the machine you're needing to use. Massive free weights area and the training are always friendly and ready to help out!

Fantastic experience: Massive gym with a larger than ordinary selection of machines and workout areas. You’ll find all the necessities you’d expect with a CityFitness, and then some. Initially a little challenging to find as its three storeys up, but this very minor inconvenience is overcome be the grand scale of the place. All set on one floor, the gym offers an impressive range of cardio and weight machines, a very large free weights area, and large floor area. (These are all bigger than some of your older CityFitness venues.) Plus, the gym is noticeably clean! Several classes offered in side studios including body weight, spin classes and circuits. Go here and enjoy not having to wait for any kit, and enjoy the broad range of gym-goers who might just broad the inspiration or motivation you need.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, has a lot of equipment and friendly staff. The massage chairs are worth it, showers are good. Only downside is it's quite crowded during peak hours (with rude people that don't put plates back) and in summer there is no A/C.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for about 6 years, it’s a great gym with tons of machine and free weight options. Black card memberships provide access to some pretty nice classes. Only downside is the massive crowds at peak times

Fantastic experience: Cheapest 24 gym. If you go at night only a few people will be there and you get to use any machines. But no showers after 11pm
