Negative experience: They ignore emails and take extra payments. If you sign up and get very sick before you even set foot in the gym, they still make you pay a 30 day cancelation. I'd be highly skeptical about signing up with these people who clearly lack integrity and humanity and just want to make a sale. Also, their swipe access cards are $60(!!!) and this is NON-REFUNDABLE. Plenty of much more reasonable, less money hungry gyms in Hamilton. Such a shame.

Positive experience: Old equipment, limited space. Often busy in the afternoons that you sometimes have to wait to use the machines. Clean facility, friendly receptionist.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff. And the other gym goers are some of the most polite of any gym I've been to.

Positive experience: Good vibe and super friendly staff. Only feedback would be that the squat rack is rather wide (clearance for reracking is small) and equipment is rather tired compared to other snaps.

Negative experience: My first review ever but I felt treated really disrespectfully. Just moved to Hamilton and went for my first trial at snap. Got told to leave without warning after an hour of training because the staff is going to go home. Didn’t even got given time to shower.

Fantastic experience: This has become my favourite gym to train at in Hamilton due to the equipment, layout and atmosphere. Also the owners and manager are really nice, cool and funny people that always make me feel welcome and looking forward to going back.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym! Lots of space to train and the equipment is clean and looks new. The members are nice and the staff make me feel welcome, which is an important factor for me when attending gyms. There is a good range of music, including a system where we can choose our music and a Bluetooth system in one room where I can play my own music through the speakers. The gym smells fresh and clean. I love the place and wish more gyms were personable like this one.

Fantastic experience: Such a cozy gym! The trainers there are literally invigorating never felt so inspired to hit the gym. The classes they have are real good and cater to all levels, boxfit and pilates are no joke

They are always supportive of your goals and will go out of their way to make sure you are getting the best support. The gear is well looked after compared to other gyms, and plenty of space to do your workout, even when it is busy. It's always clean and considering the Covid life we live, they did a great job of navigating through the lock downs and re opens. 100% recommend to anyone thinking of joining

Fantastic experience: Absolutely adore this gym and it’s amazing staff. Rhonda and Damo put their soul into this place and the relationship they have with their members shows it. This Snap is the 3rd gym I’ve belonged to in Hamilton (4th if you count that I actually joined up at another Snap across the bridge closer to home, but hated the vibe of it!!). The others don’t compare - they were often dirty with old equipment, waaay to many ppl. Snap Te Rapa is always cleaned to a very high standard, they have excellent equipment and knowledgeable staff who are always happy to help. Access 24/7. I don’t feel awkward there (for a chunky chick) and there’s a nice mix of chill members. Pop in for a visit and see for yourself.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. After a bad experience at another I switched to Snap Te Rapa. I am glad I did with absolutely no regrets! I have been a member for over 2 years and they are like family. Rhonda and Damo are always supportive and have been accommodating when I needed some extra support. These guys are the best gym I have ever belonged to. They have great atmosphere and is always clean to such a high standard.

Negative experience: Gym used to have atmosphere with old owner Chris, however the New owner Rhonda is absolutely disgusting and agressive. As far as the gym itself goes, its small and cramped. Would reccomend going to check out rototuna snap instead with band new equipment only 5 minutes drive away.
