Porirua Barbell Club is the only Olympic Weightlifting New Zealand affiliated club in Porirua City. We are dedicated to teaching and guiding you to develop the skill of Olympic weightlifting as well as other lifting movements. Whether you are a seasoned lifter wanting to compete or just wanting to give it a go, Porirua Barbell Club is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: Porirua Barbell Club is an amazing Olympic weightlifting facility. The coaches are experienced and really take the time to work with you individually, the facilities are top-notch and the community is super friendly and motivating. Can’t recommend it enough!
