Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Snap Fitness Richmond for a couple years now and I highly recommend it. The gym has all the equipment you could need and always in great condition, the staff and members are super welcoming and good to have a yarn with. They host powerlifting meets which are mean as to watch.

Fantastic experience: The Gym has a nice comunity and as a girl it is also a plesent atmosphre and i like visiting the gym. The Gym has al the maschines that you need for your Weekly routine i visited this gym since last sommer and i stayed the hole time I dont think about changing and i think i will stay here for the next few years.

Fantastic experience: The gym is a gym that has everything that you need for your dream body the gym is supplied with every nessesery maachine. The gym is something full but if you find the right times it's a plesent experience and the people also explains some Maschinen to me that I didn't know.

Fantastic experience: It’s a very welcoming gym with good modern and clean equipment. Once I had a problem with my account and my payment a worker came up to me and asked me if I could come up to the reception real quick I said yes and after 1 week of it having a problem with my payment we fixed it he was really chill and nice to me. Thanks a lot for being so calm.

Fantastic experience: Such a good atmosphere, the staff are so genuine and bring the best vibes, always there to help and go above and beyond. The members are super friendly and it’s a no judgement environment, my favourite gym I have been to ever after trying multiple. Really good equipment, lots of machines and really good quality weights for power lifting, such a range of gear there’s something for everyone. I would give this gym 6 stars if I could !

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of snap fitness since September 2022. It's a great gym to train at. Jason, the owner, is incredibly friendly and offers great advise when needed. The gym also plays fantastic music that gets you pumped for the session. All the equipment is kept very clean as well. I highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: This gym is just amazing. The club owner is SO engaging with all the members on a daily basis, which gives me that extra push to show up every day and take pride in my progress. Getting a body scan initially was very helpful (the first one is included in the full membership) and also gives me extra incentive to work hard, so I can see the results on my next one. Gyms have felt intimating to me in the past, but I’ve finally found one that I love.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, great condition gear (mostly new looking), friendly and helpful staff. Best of all they make allowances for international visitors, unlike a couple of other local gyms who won't sign you up unless you have a NZ bank account (lol). I travel to Nelson frequently to visit family and will absolutely be back. Very highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service from Jason the manager and great gym to train at. Larger Snapfitness with a set up with more functional equipment and allowing for a wide range of training including bodybuilding, powerlifting and CrossFit. Highly recommend, thanks Jason! We will be back for sure next time we are in Nelson!!

Fantastic experience: I visit Nelson on an irregular basis and needed a plan to suit an irregular need. I visited 3 different gyms. Have to say that all were friendly and pleasant but this particular one, easily had the best gear and went that bit further to sort my problem. Couldn't fault them. Jeff

Fantastic experience: I’m a member with my local club in Christchurch but currently spending a lot of time in the Tasman area. Walked in this morning, and quickly got on with my workout, staff were friendly and helpful, offered assistance if needed but were happy to leave me to my own devices. Lots of popular equipment, well maintained, looking forward to training here more

Positive experience: Clean and tidy gym good equipment, although I'd like to see a "ham and glute machine" a.k.a "roman chair", as this small bit of kit has many benefits especially for strengthening the lumbar area. It can get a little crowded at times but the bulk of the members are friendly as are the staff.

Negative experience: DO NOT JOIN SNAP FITNESS!! The manager Ty and his staff are incredibly unethical will even employ illegal tactics of using false and misleading information to sign you up. The service is disgusting and staff will mock you to your face, or put you on "hold" where they put the phone down and laugh about you to other staff, or even in person will take the piss out of you to other staff within earshot. Beware, if you're not young, thin, and pretty- you will be discriminated against. The facilities are okay, but the bathrooms are always filthy. You're told that you receive 2 x personal training sessions but then they won't give it to you. Once signed up you have no option to put your membership on hold- unlike you will be told at sign up and in your contract! They will use every excuse under the sun not to put your account on hold or cancel it so that they can keep taking money from you and eventually the manager will block your number if you complain. THEY WILL NOT LET YOU CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP OR PUT IT ON HOLD. I know of several other people that they have done this to and we are currently seeking legal action. Meanwhile, Snap Fitness continues to take money from me for a gym I cannot use as the closest one is nearly 3 hours away- even though I only signed up as was told there was a club in the town I was moving to. The staff and manager have refused communication with me now and there is no head office to resolve issues with. DO NOT EVER SIGN UP WITH THIS GYM!!! UPDATE: Snap Fitness have FINALLY cancelled my membership after I have posted this review, and I have now withdrawn legal action. EVERYTHING I have stated in my review is correct, although management will continue to lie through it's teeth, which is why they cannot outline in their response which of my supposed "claims" are untrue. Extremely unprofessional and unethical! Once again, do not join this gym!!!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. It's extremely clean and has a lot of equipment. The best part is the staff. Everyone we spoke to was extremely helpful and encouraging. We were personally invited to join a thirty minute circuit by William. He obviously had put a lot of effort and thought into the workouts. It kicked our butts. Not only did he lead an awesome workout but he also along with Ryan coached on proper form. If we lived in Richmond this would be the gym we'd attend.
