Fantastic experience: Active Attitudes in Whangārei has been awesome for my toddler! We do both swimming and gymnastics, and he absolutely loves it. The staff are really friendly and great with kids. The swimming lessons are fun and safe, Ashley is absolutelythe best instructor. Highly recommend for little ones!

Fantastic experience: Our toddler attends swimming classes and I could not recommend Ashleigh enough. After a bad experience elsewhere, when my nephew and niece started here and also raved about it, we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did, I was nervous but Ashleigh very quickly showed us why everyone sings her praises. She is exceptional with the kids, patient, knowledgeable and fun. In only 2 months of attending our daughter has already learned so many new skills and if she’s feeling hesitant about something, Ashleigh goes above and beyond to help her feel comfortable. I would highly recommend these classes to other parents. I love that the classes are small ratios, the pool is clean and the environment is not overstimulating and loud. A huge thank you and we will not be going anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter has been going to Active Attitude from some time now. The coaches are incredible at reading the needs of their students and our daughter has really come a long way, now she's gone up a level which is so exciting. I've loved the atmosphere so much that I've now joined the Adult class on a Thursday evening. It's the most fun I've ever had exercising. I used to run Marathons and this is the perfect lower impact I've needed to get my fitness up there and increase my strength and balance. The others that come along are all in this for the same thing. A fun and social environment, encouraging each other and trying new things. It's like a little adventure every Thursday. I 100% recommend Active Attitude to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Went for the first time this week for the babies session. Wow what an amazing atmosphere! Whangarei is so lucky to have such a professionally run gym. The baby sessions are a great way for new parents to make connections and the coaches provided fun and engaging activities to help with baby development. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a way to engage their children in physical activity.

Fantastic experience: Even though our son Ollie has been having group swimming lessons for two terms a year elsewhere, the 4 times one on one lessons with Active Attitude over 2 years has made a huge, almost overnight difference to his confidence and swimming strokes. Negative experience: The staff were great at first. But really I think my child should have been offered a couple of free trial sessions. He just didn't want to do it after we had paid the fees. Person taking the class didn't make my son feel included in the group, staff have no customer service skills. More interested in taking the money, they didn't seem to care when asked if we could get a partial refund. Was told that he (my child) should make an effort to get more involved. Personally I wouldn't recommend this business, but thats just my opinion on how I feel about them.
