Fantastic experience: Not a natural gym-goer myself, but HiitCo made it much easier to get over that hurdle. The team are super friendly and supportive of all fitness levels and body types, and they know how to push you in encouraging ways. I’ve only left because my work location changed — otherwise I’d still be showing up regularly. Thanks Hayden, Claudia and the team! I definitely recommend HiitCo to anyone.

Love how you guys push me to my limits and then past them. I always leave the gym feeling good. I have lost 10kg in the last 12 Months and I'm in the best shape I've been in since my teens an 20s. I really enjoy the high intensity circuit style training as treadmills and machines are just not for me.

Fantastic experience: I was very hesitant to start up at 9round considering I had zero boxing experience and hadn’t worked out properly for ages after having my son, but Hayden, Sophie and the team have been so welcoming and understanding, meeting me where I’m at and always pushing me to do better. I also love that they allow my boy to come and even have a little kids corner set up for him so I can get a good uninterrupted workout in! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the last few months there and am excited for the results I’m seeing! Cant recommend this 9round enough!

Fantastic experience: I could not rate 9Rounds highly enough. I wanted to join for a few years and finally after failing at other gym routines decided to go for it and I’m so glad I did. The team - Hayden, Sophie, Claudia, Lockie and newbie Dave are all amazing to be around, they spend time with you correcting anything that’s needed and encouraging you to build up that fitness level. I feel comfortable with all of the trainers and people around me which I’ve never had at a gym before. Every session feels like a personal training session. You guys have helped me put time in for myself and the whole family benefit from it. I would never want to go to another gym. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: After enquiring about joining for over a year, I finally took the plunge and took on their 6 week challenge. With having extremely little gym experience (lasted no more than a month) and zero boxing experience, I was completely out of my comfort zone. From the moment I stepped foot in the gym, I have felt welcomed, and apart of something! The trainers take the time to get to know you, your goals and help you along the way. From correction of form, nutrition, and pushing you to be the best that you can. I have never not had a session where a trainer has not engaged with me during a round. They are always there encouraging you to keep going and pushing you. A fantastic team (of trainers and members) that's always encouraging and helpful! I only wish I joined sooner!

Fantastic experience: Being in my mid 30's and never gone to a gym before. I was a little nervous trying a gym not to mention a kickboxing gym. But the 9Round Ferrymead team has made it enjoyable, yet challenging. My gym goal for 2024 was to run 10km (without stopping) which I thought was going to be a long journey. With the support and encouragement of the 9 round team and the gym whānau a group of us done the 12km city2surf. A month later my husband and I ran the Christchurch Half Marathon. No way would I have ever done that with out the support from the 9Round Team. You guys are amazing ❤️

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for somewhere to start your health and fitness journey 9 Round Ferrymead is it. They are a fabulous team providing constant support and encouragement. The vibe is amazing and fun with team events that support worthy causes and create a great team spirit. I started my journey with an intense dislike of physical activity and now I'm addicted! 9 Round Ferrymead is not your normal gym, if you want more than the bog standard come put some gloves on and give it a go!

Fantastic experience: Being a member at 9Round Ferrymead upcoming 3 years now! Hayden, Sophie, Claudia and Lockie are professional and knowledgeable. The team create a fun atmosphere that makes me excited to go to the gym! There are always things to keep members active and engaged whether it is a fundraiser, weekly combo, ‘CHOWS’ or weekly challenges! Not to mention great social gatherings outside of the gym and events such as the city to surf which creates a family dynamic!

Fantastic experience: I joined 9Round Ferrymead after seeing the results that a good friend had made after committing to one of the clubs six week challenges. I thought to myself at the time that I could probably do with making some lifestyle changes myself as a time poor business owner with a young family, I had not made time for exercise for many years and was overweight and so unfit. I slowly built up my fitness levels in the first couple of months before committing to my own six week challenge and now am six months into my 9 Round journey and exercise has become an enjoyable and important part of my weekly routine. The team at 9 Round Ferrymead make the gym experience fun, it is great having a trainer there for you every session to push you and guide you on your fitness journey - there is no judgement and everyone is given opportunity to improve at their own pace. The 30 minute sessions and ability to turn up whenever they are open and just start your session is ideal especially when you can fit your training in around busy work and home life schedules and when time allows the encouragement is there from the trainers to push you to do a bonus round or even double rounds to get those MEPS up. After never thinking that I would find myself regularly attending a gym, I’m hooked ☺️

Fantastic experience: 9 rounds is an awesome kickboxing gym, has a good team of trainers that are knowledge in different factors of fitness ranging from boxing skill, strength training and cardio. The trainers that work there range from commonwealth powerlifter, amateur boxing and up and coming body builders. My fitness has improved in so many factors than to the team and have met some really awesome people that I train with everyday, 100p recomend to any one from all ranges of fitness goals

Negative experience: Very disappointed with 9 round owner of this particular branch More than 3 months ago I cancelled my deal with 9 round and I still got charged.. I got told I would receive a refund. It took 3 months to be refunded !! I didn't even get refunded the correct amount either, and I was told I would be compensated.. No compensation, emails sent & barely a response.. Then once I receive a refund finally, 9 round then start taking money from my acc and not just once but twice in less than a week! AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND. My family have gone without and couldn't afford my rent payment last week. Why ? Because 9 round are very happy to take your money out of your bank account, but there not in a hurry to refund , even when it's there mistake .. couldn't even compensate .. even when the owner says they will

Fantastic experience: Been hitting Round9 for at least 2yrs now and still absolutely love it. Being able to drop in any time and do a workout without having to check any schedule is fantastic. The workouts are short and sharp, but still challenging, and the trainers are great. Definitely a 5 star recommendation from me!

They have gone out of their way to accommodate me in bringing my kids along to the gym during my workouts which makes all the difference as a mum in being able to show up consistently. Fantastic experience: It’s a good place, I feel well catered for and not just another number at a big gym. There’s no judging at 9 round ferry mead, Hayden, his team and all the other members want each other to do well and reach our goals, no matter what those goals are. Everyone who goes appears to enjoy being there which makes it easier for me to get there. Hayden and his team bring the personal approach which again, makes it easy to get along and work hard while your there. I also like the setup of being able to show up at any time with no set class times, complete my own personal workout and focus on my goals without worrying about what everyone else is doing. The added bonus of working out on a regular basis is the huge benefits to my general health and well being. I am a happier and more relaxed person because of the regular fitness away from work and other life commitments. All the ladies love talking.

Nothing worse than joining a gym you don’t enjoy and don’t go to… Here, all the trainers greet you BY NAME, help you improve your form, and mix up the workouts each and everyday. They encourage you to do your best without coming across like drill sergeants. I can confidently say that they are my fitness family, they even organised an online trivia over lockdown and plan gym member events regularly. I genuinely look forward to coming here each and everyday that I can and can confidently say I’m the fittest I’ve ever been and I’m in my mid 30’s! I wholeheartedly could not recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: Ive done heaps of different exercise classes, running, circuit traing, gyms over the last ten years but nothing comes close to the experience I get from the team here! Hayden, Sophie, ash and Toby are really great people who I always find go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and part of the family down at the gym. All the members are really friendly , theres no egos or posing. Just streight up decent people who enjoy exercise, with friendly banter, laughs and some good competition to keep you motivated.

Fantastic experience: I’m a 52 year old (tell don't tell my kids) male with average to below fitness and been lookng for a gym scene that meets my needs. Guess I was getting sick of you know the choreographed fitness classes where all of us guys were always out of time to the music and where you are told to "be more vocal" When 9 round fitness started recently in my local area in Ferrymead, I thought I’d give it a try! Well it’s been about month now and there’s something so satisfying in a way, of punching something as hard as you can! Seriously though I just love the concept, nine rounds of tough work out at your own pace but make no bones about it – it’s exhausting! My highlight always is the boxing with the instructor who calls the moves and has the pads – man I’m breathless but sweaty afterwards. I think there’s no option but to be as fit as possible! But whether or not you have any desire to punch anything, I have a new respect for boxers/kick-boxers - they are some of the best shape of any athletes! I’m even beginning to like the burpees and push ups! Anyway enough said thoroughly recommend this place, friendly staff and unassumingly encouraging and always wanting the best for you! Tiaki
