Fantastic experience: The place is huge! I spent 1.5 hours here (can be longer if my friend asked me to stop and move on hahaha). It might be a busy day since it was a great sunny day and yet I don’t feel the place was crowded. The space is so airy I don’t feel suffocated. I feel the boulder routes are more difficult than the one at Auckland Climbing Gym, which is fun for me. The vibe is also comforting and welcoming for a beginner like me. I wish it was located more towards CBD so I can be here more often.

Fantastic experience: Love this indoor rock climbing spot! Huge space, toddler area with a slide, and a vibrant atmosphere with people of all ages.

Fantastic experience: Very challenging place with a big range of difficulties. They also have a gym and food there too, so it’s a great place to get fit.

Positive experience: Pretty cool, lots or routes, kinda commerical. Happy they had vegan options!! Holds could do with more frequent cleaning... Many routes were super slippery.

Fantastic experience: This place is so cool! Such a massive space and a really energetic vibe with lots of people climbing and hanging out. I’m a complete beginner climber and not very strong but there were lots of beginner level climbs for me to try. All the climbs were ranked on difficulty so it’s easy to know which ones to try first. Everyone is really respectful of your space and supportive of one another. The owner was SUPER lovely and gave a great induction to bouldering. The other staff were really friendly too. There’s also a great selection of food and barista made coffee! And a bar! But no climbing allowed after you’ve had alcohol FYI. This place is totally worth a visit even if you’re not a local

Fantastic experience: So much fun and you get a lot for the price you pay. The shoe hire also a reasonable price. The walls change regularly and the staff and very kind and helpful. I love to come here!

Fantastic experience: Great place to go. Everything you need is here, and the food is good too. Thanks for the response! You're doing a great job. My friends and I love this place. There's always something new to climb on, and the climbs stay long enough for us to work on them. We've been saying that if we were to create a climbing gym like this, we'd add an ice bath and sauna. One personal suggestion: when I walk in and see pies in the warmer that look like they've been sitting around for half the day, it's a bit off-putting. Other than that, the place is a 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: It's awesome! Routes are reset reasonably frequently, with a great amount of beginner-friendly graded climbs so we've never got bored! Just wish it was closer so I could go more often!

Fantastic experience: Never climbed but seems like a good hobby. Shoutout to the team who looked after my little brother while he dislocated his arm while climbing.

Negative experience: Waited for more than 20 mins prior to being attended to by the staff. We had to call the attention of the staff who completely just ignored us like we were not there. This is the most unfriendly and unprofessional bouldering place we have been into.

Fantastic experience: Awesome spot for testing physical and mental strength. I took my three kids here, 10, 7 and 4. They obviously could not door too much but loved the climbing wall at the slide area. Something different from the usual Clip and Climb. We'll be back because the layout it awesome. I could have a coffee at the cafe while I watched the kids. They even do a sensory quiet hr which I thought was very inclusive. Staff were friendly and helpful in running you through the whole place.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, always space even when busy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are fair and it's really cool to have a gym there too. Family friendly with something for all ages and abilities - we've gone a couple times with our bub and toddler and our parents. We all had a hugely fun time until we were too tired to climb anymore! Great vibe, everyone is friendly and supportive. AND the food is delicious! Can't fault this place. We are happy repeat customers.

Fantastic experience: Great for my girls to burn off that monkey energy. Staff pass the vibe check, great place to take your kids have some lunch and kick back. I recommend it as a wicked activity for beginners or experienced climbers and suitable for most ages.

Fantastic experience: Great huge facility with plenty of routes to start and to progress. As a new to the sport, I’ve found this a very beginner friendly, easy routes are flatter and have good grip and you can progress into more challenging routes with more technical and narrow grips.

Fantastic experience: Been climbing here for quite awhile, it’s a great gym! It’s such a big space which has been well utilised to include a great variety of walls for just about any style of problem. They’ve also got a campus board, a spray wall and two moon boards (25&45 degrees). Hard to get bored climbing there! The setting is also really interesting and fun, though it’s pretty dry they’ve only got dudes doing it, bit old fashioned lol. There is also a well equipped gym upstairs, which is such a plus for the already reasonably priced membership. On top of all that they’ve got a cafe, which has great vegan options if you’re into that coffee is… ok. Gets really busy at peak times, so if you’re prone to over stimulation would recommend going during the day, it’s a lot more quite.

Fantastic experience: Nice place for bouldering, especially for newbies (like myself). Highly recommend it, the great con is that is quite far away. Only accessible by car or if you live nearby.

Fantastic experience: Been to a few bouldering gyms overseas, can say boulder co is up there in quality in pretty much everything. From the training area to the coffee to the gym. In terms of route setting it'll always be a preference and may differ over time but from my experience boulder co probably has the widest variety from beginner and up. You'll often find pockets, slopers and slabs even at lower grades. This imo isn't always the best for progression but it does mean you'll encounter them from the start which is definitely more fun and probably means less chance of injury as you climb grades (since you won't have glaring holes in your climbing experience).

Positive experience: I really like climbing here. The facilities are always clean and the staff are super friendly. Entry and membership prices are also fair too. The only reason I took off a star is because I would love to do the group classes but they are really expensive and you have to pay for entry as well.

Fantastic experience: Had to hop onto old Google Reviews to say how great this place is for kids! Our six-year-old loved it - super clean, lots of space, cafe that serves chips - doesn't get better than that. Cheers.

Positive experience: Setting is pretty hit or miss, too many dynos and reachy moves, sucks for shorter climbers. Go Northern Rocks if you prefer powerful, static climbing. The gym upstairs is pretty decked out so that's cool.

Fantastic experience: Varied and interesting setting, will definitely come here again next time I'm in Auckland. Also when I was leaving I mentioned getting out some cash to take the bus back in town. One of the employees said they unfortunately stopped taking cash and then she just gave me her bus card!?! If you read this thank you so much I made it back!

Positive experience: The place is fine,i just don't know why all the tables are so dirty with a layer of chalk dust, I can't even put my coffee cup on the table with all the dust, and there are so many chalk particles floating in the air, but there are 3 or 4 staff members just standing there chatting and not one of them think to wipe the tables. I can understand that it is very difficult to prevent the chalk in the air, but could you at least tell your staff to wipe the tables and chairs from time to time, and the floors should be mopped on a daily basis.

Fantastic experience: Best bouldering in Auckland. Plus the cafe and bar are seriously good. There's also a gym included in entry. It can get busy, bit the area is big enough that there still room to move

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym that changes up their climbs frequently. Routes are always fresh and challenging. My only gripe would be how busy it has been lately! Potential to open another gym closer to Central Auckland suburbs?

Fantastic experience: Huge facility with loads of awesome climbs to choose from! A full gym upstairs that is included for the day pass. Great for all ages including little ones, and set up for all climbing abilities from first time climbers to the experienced crushers. Loads of food to choose from, including stone baked pizzas, gourmet burgers, and a wide selection of vegan food for the plant based climbers. Have I mentioned delicious beer selection on tap from Hallertau to cool your burning hands after you finish climbing? It’s a must. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and a pretty funny bunch. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: This place has everything you'll ever need. I love it. Friendly staff. Beautiful facilities. Inductions are super quick. There are many various climbs and the grading is super simple. This place is number 1!

Fantastic experience: The largest indoor Boulder gym in the southern hemisphere in size and personality. The team was welcoming as soon as we walked through the giant automatic doors. Adam, co-owner, was super friendly, charismatic and very knowledgeable. The facility is great for all ages, it has a training gym upstairs overlooking the climbing walls, a kids dedicated area and then the main gym with different levels of difficulty. They also have a baby change table in the toilets, for all the parents that want to crush some climbs with their bubs. Highly recommend, a great activity for all ages and stages. We traveled from Australia to check out all the hype, definitely worth it. Thanks Adam and team.

Fantastic experience: A great place for people of all levels. Fun and welcoming atmosphere. As an absolute beginner, there are some challenging "Blue" ones, but overall, it makes me want to come back and try more.
