Fantastic experience: Great venue for concerts and other special events - other than just sports. There was a bit of a problem with people understanding the entry and exit doors for the bathrooms! Good food offerings

Fantastic experience: Military Tattoo was awesome Loved the bagpipes, the brass bands the dancing and singing. The cadance and marching and formation were magic - lots of practice and didn't disappoint

Negative experience: Disorganized entry and exit public transport even worse for so called national stadium embarrassed as a tourist

Positive experience: I was impressed but were left standing at railway station for 3/4 of an hour arrived back at Brttamark after midnight so suggest one should arrange transport no Bus either at that hour

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience and great atmosphere when the stadium is a sell out your in for a night to remember just one of many of the excellent venues Auckland city has to offer for entertainment to enjoy a memorable day or night with friends or family.

Negative experience: Brilliant atmosphere however, food and beverages are super expensive. Seats are as hard as nails with no room to move. No parking and forget about a quick exit. 30 thousand plus people heading to the train station = absolute nightmare.

Fantastic experience: We recently took our nephew to Eden Park, Auckland to see the famous All Blacks home ground. We hadn't booked anything and asked the lady on reception if there was any chance we could take a quick look at the field. The easy answer would have been 'no' but not wanting to disappointment she called a man over from the lift and told him he was giving us a private tour. So IT manager Paul began what was the best private tour I've had. I can't thank Paul and the loveliest lady at reception (I'm so sorry I don't recall her name) enough. Brilliant morning.

Fantastic experience: An amazing 3 day special convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. The cleanest Eden Park had ever been or will ever be! Such an incredible event with love being shown on every occasion. Truly a spiritual paradise.

Positive experience: Food is rubbish and overpriced. My son said the ketchup was the worst he'd ever had! The sport, football, was fine. No merchandise store, which was a pity.

Fantastic experience: We had our JW Special Convention there 9-13 Jan 2026. 23000 fit nicely, all out of the sun. Great venue, heaps of rest rooms and water stations. Comfortable seats. With ample leg room for a 183cm (6ft) guy.

The venue is well maintained with great seating arrangements and clear views of the ground from almost every spot. The atmosphere during the match was electric, and the crowd management was smooth and professional. Clean facilities, helpful staff, and good food options made the visit even more enjoyable. It’s a fantastic place for cricket lovers and families alike. Definitely one of the best sporting venues in Auckland and a must-visit for anyone who enjoys live cricket.

Unlike many modern venues, it is a multi-purpose arena with a rich history, serving as a fortress for Rugby and a high-octane venue for Cricket. 1. Cricket at Eden Park: The Famous "Short Straight" Eden Park is legendary in the cricket world for its unique rectangular shape, which differs significantly from traditional circular cricket grounds. Dimensions: The ground has very short straight boundaries (some under 50-55 meters) and long square boundaries. This creates a fascinating tactical battle where even a "mishit" can fly over the bowler's head for a six. High-Scoring Thrillers: Because of the short boundaries, T20 and ODI matches here are often high-scoring and incredibly entertaining for the crowd. Atmosphere: The "bowl" design of the stands keeps the sound inside, creating a deafening roar during close finishes. Fantastic experience: Visited icon Eden Park for 90 mins tour. It’s mostly for rugby fans. However there is some part for cricket fans too. It’s an iconic ground in Auckland with 40,000 capacity. Recently they hold many concerts too.

What an incredibly beautiful space and what a great experience.. amazing view over the whole park..a special place for sure. We were taken up by lift..easy access ..handy toilets.. Air conditioning

Fantastic experience: Have seen a few concerts and rugby games here. Transport to and from the shore is amazing. Security is excellent. Very well organised. If you ever have visitors, take the tour. Fabulous!

So much fun .. moving in and out was no problem at all (for us) I would recommend staying at the Convent hotel or some where else close as I hear that getting on the train after was hard work. There is loads of toilets and getting a beer was not a problem
