(Free Advice lol) - Bathroom & Toilets always clean. - Staff are attentive & motivating. Overall, the atmosphere is empowering, encouraging and respectfully mindful.

Fantastic experience: City Fitness Manurewa is the best! In fact the best of all the City Fitness franchises I have visited. Spacious, friendly, inviting and welcoming. As a wheelchair user this place make you feel inclusive and eliminates all possible barriers by making the entry/exit available after hours and barrier arms are user friendly for everyone without having a seperate entry which is disabling like other City Fitness gyms for example Botany. Well done Manurewa City Fitness! Would most definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: This place is almost always packed!! good thing theres plenty of machines to keep you busy .

Positive experience: Plenty of equipment and the quality is really good since it’s quite new. However the staff are always there yet are never refilling the dispensers for cleaning wipes. They also don’t call out bad behaviour like guests not cleaning or being disruptive.

Negative experience: I visited here as I wanted to compare it to flex fitness before joining a gym. I asked for a tour and the girl was completely unwelcoming and unfriendly. Maybe she was having a bad day but it was a complete turn off. Straight up denied, no alternative option, time of day, or anything, she clearly couldn't be bothered. Gym itself looked pretty big for the 10 seconds I got to see it though.

Fantastic experience: My colleague introduced me to this gym. Moment I walked in to pickup my tag I fell in love with the place. We only went twice a week after work. We joined one of the classes last Thursday and manh it's the best even thou it's hard for us to keep up as beginner but it's worth more than roaming around the machines. We look to join more classes and hope to achieve our goals. I'm so bad with my eating but I hope going to the gym will help me keep active. Facilities is very clean and love the massage chair Can someone recommend the quiet time at the gym during the weekend please.

Fantastic experience: City Fitness has branches all over NZ and abroad too (I was told). Taking membership in one, entitles one to visit any of the branches, any number of times. I normally visit the Manurewa branch early in the morning, work out, shower and then drive to school where I teach. The showers dispense unlimited amounts of hot water. Judging by the time they take, I suspect some of those in the cubicles fall blissfully asleep under the supertemporal streams of steaming water. On weekends and holidays, I use the facilities in Ormiston (the best in my opinion), Papatoetoe (a bit small as it is inside Hunter's Plaza mall) and Westgate (the most crowded amongst the four).

Fantastic experience: I tend to go around 2am when the gym is empty, more machines available and you're not waiting for anyone, although even in peak times there's still room and machines available to use. Changing rooms are open throughout the night which is really convenient if you're a shift worker like me and you need to shower and go to work from there. There are carparks in the front and also some around the side of the building as well. The best part is the people are awesome, everyone in the same boat, reaching the same goal. I feel very comfortable here with non judgemental vibes. People will often say hi to you when you arrive and leave, the staff are awesome as well, out of all the city fitness gyms, ive found the one, and when you've found that place, you're more likely to keep going....shot manurewa city fitness you guys are awesome

Positive experience: The gym is very big with lots of modern machines. Just beware of your belongings. Our family lost 2 mobile phones worth over $1500 there. They got stolen in the changing room.

Positive experience: Allgood gym but busy around 7-9pm and some people hog the machine

Negative experience: Machines always breaking, not enough cables and ropes for cable machine

Fantastic experience: Good gym. Spacious with a lot of exercise equipment to choose from. Open 24 hours so very convenient if your schedule doesn't allow you to go during ordinary working hours

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the vibe there, yes City Fitness is awesome throughout N.Z but mate. You can't beat the staff and members here, friendly happy non judgemental all walks of life. Sooooo colourful, not the gym the people. Everyone just goes hard to achieve their own goals, and even though we are all tired. We never forget to smile at each other, or help each other achieve their goals. Love it!!! ❤️

Fantastic experience: As I found out that gym was opening up, this time last year, I was keen to join that gym and sign up to apply for membership, and it's a very amazing environment to workout and to plenty of amazing exercise along with a balanced diet, and lifestyle and I also remember when that very same building as that very same facility on Maich Road out behind South Mall, used to be the Manurewa RSA where for Special Olympics Tier 2 Events it's Dinner and Disco at the Manurewa RSA, as I know that in 2020 the Manurewa RSA, moved into the Cosmopolitan Club on Alfristen Road, and that former Manurewa RSA complex, the Cityfitness Manurewa Gym moved into as I realized it was the new gym, and I was keen to sign up for membership at that new gym, and it's very flash and it has very amazing facilities at the back of the gym, showing facilities through the changing rooms, and lockers, even cubby holes where I can put my gear, and it has weights equipment and all the right accessories any gym would need, and it has treadmills and an eftpos vending machine, and it also has massage chairs, where I can go for a massage if I want, and the staff are very friendly, and always punctual and sophisticated and well organized, and very up-to-date with their work and dedicated professionals, and it has all the equipment and I can do dumbbell exercises, there also personal trainers available to give me support and assistance at all times, with any plans or routine checks, and to do assessments, and late last year I was so thrilled and very proud to become a member of this new gym just after it opened up late last year.
