Velca | Howick

Fantastic experience: Came to velca 4weeks ago. Was having a back pain and TFL syndrome. After 2 sittings with Brian my TFL syndrome is almost gone. Must say Brian is a very professional and have a huge knowledge in his area. He been very patience with my issues, very detail oriented, explains you what are the things which are causing the issues and he is very much experienced in deep tissue massage. I am seeing huge improvements in myself. Must recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Although it was just a short initial session with a massage and some recovery exercises, I already feel better and much more assured about the injury. Fantastic experience: Initial Thoughts - I walked in and was kindly greeted by the receptionist. From my short observation she was polite and quite attentive to those in the reception area which complimented the warm atmosphere. I was referred to Matt (Chiro Dept) by Velca, I'm quite a large fellow so I had my reservations on whether he could offer any assistance to my situation. Experience - Matt was Awesome!! Personable and Professional, he relieved me of my reservations and was more than accommodating. We found a starting point and will continue onwards until recovery. Fantastic experience: I have had the best experience with Dr Matt, me and my children have had so much go wrong in the past few weeks.From my sons concussion to my 2 and a half year old daughter hurting her back and not sleeping. Matt has been amazing helping get through this tough time, and is great with kids. I hurt my back as well, so giving my whole family treatment, and also giving me advice for my husband's tennis elbow and what to do for him, suggesting the Physio.

However I have found DrJessie Cleave at Velca to be easy to talk to, who listens to his patient and although being sometimes a little sore after his clicking and manipulation the overall treatment has been nothing short of amazing. Fantastic experience: I came to Velca a little bit apprehensive about treatment as it was my first time visiting a chiropractor. Fantastic experience: Ash is always amazing but after recently falling in my driveway she took the time to check out my knee/leg after seeing the awful bruise I was left with. She has done wonders to help alleviate the soreness in my lower back from the impact of the fall. Highly recommend a visit to Ash if you are having back pain of any kind.

Negative experience: The massage was great Pearl was very attentive but the place was noisy. Maybe consider putting the room at the back. I could hear patient assessments being done in other rooms. Won't be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I generally never love going to Health care appointments - but I have to say Velca was great. I booked a complimentary check up with Lisa through the website. It was super easy and had all the information I needed to feel comfortable going through with booking. Lisa was really great - she explained everything to me and made it easy for me to understand. I didn't feel any pressure to go ahead with booking more appointments of go ahead with treatment. Adulting is hard lol - so getting use to booking and attending these appointments by yourself and not having your mum there to tell the doctor whats wrong with you, make me nervous ‍♀️ but Lisa and the rest of team made it easy.

Jatan does a thorough initial assessment with you and tells you the reason behind everything she does, and guides you through how she plans to manage your injury. Fantastic experience: Yesterday i had the pleasure of meeting with Jaden after injurying my knee over the weekend. I was nervous and sore and feeling very sorry for myself. Jaden put me at ease with his kind manner and very knowledgeable and supportive information provided about the extent of my injury and potential recovery time and treatment needed. Fantastic experience: I went to see Matt after a fall, First Chiropractor that I’ve been to that didn’t pressure me into a whole bunch of sessions a week, was quick to just tell me the cause and how we can fix it and I felt like the explanation was more understandable than I’ve had before from previous chiropractor’s. I had some specific instructions from my chiropractor (Matt – who is fantastic), and Pearl totally nailed it! She understood exactly what I needed and what danger zones she needed to avoid. Now, I won't lie—it wasn't the most relaxing experience because she had to work on some seriously painful areas. But the relief I felt over the next few days was really noticeable!
