Under the expert guidance of Shihan Stephen Takiwa, who boasts over 40 years of experience in Kyokushin Karate, our instructors are all internationally certified and hold New Zealand first aid certificates. Shihan Takiwa is not only the highest-ranked New Zealander at the prestigious IKO1 Men's World Tournament in Japan, but also serves as a respected Branch Chief for over two decades, overseeing more than 20 dojos across New Zealand.
