Positive experience: I think this pool is already well known in the area so it's no secret. Enjoying lane swimming here, just have to watch the sunburn. The pool temperature is really good for an outdoor pool and the changing rooms are spacious and clean and well made.

Fantastic experience: Kids loved it!! Lots of BBQ tables and I think you can borrow the BBQ too. The kids pool is 0.8m deep with a small waterfall into a toddlers area (covered). Then there's the bigger pool which is 0.9m-1.2m and have a couple of lanes to use but half the pool is freeplay space. Good little splash pad area too. Friendly staff and they sell ice blocks too!!

Positive experience: Located in Petone, the kids and I had a great time at this outdoor pool complex. There are a range of pools and water spray areas. The water was surprisingly warm for an outdoor pool. Very reasonably priced too. We would definitely go again, especially on a hot summer's day (with sunblock applied).

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to take the family for a swim and picnic in the sun. Love it. Don't count on the life guards being overly attentive though, they're mostly chatting each other up. It's a really safe space to go and easy to keep an eye on everything.

Fantastic experience: Nice exterior pool, basic amenities but clean and friendly staff. 3 lanes for swimming, and 2-3 lanes + dedicated pools for children to play, so it's great for everybody.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic hidden gem in Petone! There are three different sized pools for different ages/abilities, and a fun little splash pad as well. Lots of shelter from the sun and plenty of places to sit. Only complaint is about the tiny car park!!

Positive experience: A lovely old fashioned style outside pool. It is only open in the warmer months of the year. Kiddie pool (with a small ramped section for babies/toddlers separated by an overflow wall to the main kiddie pool) and a larger main pool for swimming. The deeper end of main pool is 1.2 metres. There is some seating, grass areas and picnic tables. There is also a water play area that is great fun.

Fantastic experience: The summer destination this year. Fun for all the family. Have now made it a habit to go here after work. It is only a 15 minute walk from Petone train station, then jump in to cool off with the family. The BBQ is first on first serve, so make an evening of it and grab some sausage or steaks for dinner.

Positive experience: Small but good place for kids. Make sure you bring y9ur sunnies as the concrete is white and everything is bright.
