Negative experience: Very bad experience

Negative experience: Shit pools! Not like back in the days super fun for the kids!! All the fun things are not longer up everything cost separately no deals! cost to bomb cost for the slide cost for the jumping castle obstacle thingy. Never going back there again

Negative experience: Not a good experience for me, had a guy come directly in my lane and collide solidly, scratching right across my forehead with his dirty fingernails. Two empty lanes either side. No one watching and swimmer just carries on. Perhaps single lanes would be safer as I have had this happen many time's over the years and not too happy about this latest one, what if it was my eye.

Fantastic experience: Good for the kids. Slide, Wave pool, blow up obstacles course.

Positive experience: Cheap and nice. good sauna, hot pool and swimming. Can be quite busy. Dont pay for showers alone as they're not that good and dont have locks but all in would recommend if around Auckland on a rainy day

Negative experience: I just got denied entry due to too much crowd and shortage of staff. I hardly saw anyone in the pool, and just earlier, I saw a couple of staff horse playing. What's going on?

Positive experience: Good facilities and well maintained. Busy day and everyone well behaved. Having said that the lifeguards didn't police any of the rules they have posted.

Negative experience: A shame the warm indoor pool is no longer available for public … our first visit back in a long time since my boys were new borns - now almost 3 I was looking forward to bringing them here. Young girl with all the 277 tattoos ruined it for us. Dipping my toddler in the pool as far as possible from the lessons only briefly for her to waltz over and tell us no. Whatever happened to the easy going way of enjoying life… Won’t be returning.

Negative experience: Not a bad pool, kids had fun once they got past the front desk who searched their bag made them show their togs etc took like 10min to let them in even though everyone else was allowed to just walk on through hmmmmm strange made the kids feel stink though being so heavily questioned

Fantastic experience: Great and clean place with hot shower. On the women side there were doors for showers but on the men side didn't. We recommend it :)

Fantastic experience: A detour off the motorway, to avoid hours of sitting in traffic due to road closure, found us at Massey Park Pool. A reasonable entry fee, a nice pool-side family changing room. This is a great facility, with an indoor learners pool, play pool, separate lane pool, a spa pool, and even an outdoor pool too!! There's a large waterslide, available for an extra fee, and a water-run obstacle was being set up as we left. Spacious changing room, with showers too. For me, the jewel was the sauna and steam room. Just wonderful. We spent several hours enjoying ourselves and only had a little bit of traffic to contend with when we resumed our journey south.

Fantastic experience: Great learn to swim program for the kids

Positive experience: The pool is clean and spacious. I really love the steam room. However, I was a bit disappointed when I left my swimming suit in the shower room overnight and couldn’t retrieve it. :(

Negative experience: Disappointed because the pools were so cold inside my toddler was shivering. Thankfully my six month old went to the warmer pool quickly but it was the toddler play area that was so cold. To make matters worse, we got out because she was too cold and the change room showers were freezing cold also. Won't go back as this isn't appropriate for young children.

Negative experience: The trading hours are not right it say close at 8pm but got told we have to leave at 6pm because they are going to close and the outside pools closed at 5pm got told we had to go inside pools just to get told they close at 6pm its daylight saving and they charge kids $3each for bombing also notice all the lifeguards just standing around talking to each other.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! There is an awesome slide and amazing for bombing 10/10 would recommend!

Negative experience: Bad customer service. Cancelation policy too complicated. I was asking customer service to cancel swimming class for my child from two weeks. They didn't listen me and kept taking money from my account.

Negative experience: (2019) All is good. Some comfortable chairs for waiting parents would earn my fifth (2023 feb) The outside pool was filthy. Lumps of hairs, single strain long hair, sands, little stuffs, used bandage... The inside is extremely humid (poor air circulation) and uncomfortable (smell) compare to the Manurewa Pool. Too many "intruders" in the lap swimmer lanes. (2023 jun) They had maintenance shut in April, I expect significant improvement. NOPE! The inside pool floor is badly stained, looks like never been cleaned! Still lumps of hairs floating around...yuck..

Positive experience: Not too bad a pool. Great for the kids. Has a wave pool, a hydro slide, showers, kids lessons, lap pool, lazy pool, sauna, steam room and spa. There are no diving pools. From time to time, they let you jump off the deep section which is really cool of them. Staff are great and friendly. Awesome bunch of people Pricing is reasonable. Changing rooms are pretty good. Over all not a bad place to go! Lots of choice. Downside is when it gets busy, it gets very very busy and can get cramped quite quickly

Fantastic experience: This is my new go to leisure centre. They’ve got a cafe, a swimming shop, you can rent a doughnut, the staff are lovely and the place is clean.

Negative experience: Paid for access but couldn't do bombs, go down the hydroxide or the blow up run without a separate special band. Had no idea any of these other bands were available when purchasing. Kept getting told off for a 3yo jumping in because he didn't have a special band so couldn't jump in the pool and practice his diving / swimming.

Fantastic experience: Great place to bring the kids, cheap. Be sure to ask about the different things to do beyond simply swimming.

Negative experience: Cost $4.50 to swim which is but understanable but costing $3 to bomb see yah later not coming back here again since when do you pay to bomb i will be telling friends and families temp of pool was cold plenty of space to swim adults, kids, and disability.

Negative experience: Pretty disappointed with these pools tbh. After recommendation from friends who have been there, staff were ok. The outside pools were filthy and had to tell the kids to come back to the indoor pools. Main pool was fine, until a face mask was floating in the water, so I hopped out. Won't be going back anytime soon. Sorry.

Positive experience: It serves what people need simply enough. They even have an in-door water slide. Pools are big enough for training, however, the family & kids area are a tad bit on the small side.

Negative experience: Papakura pools or Massey pools is getting a 1 star review... who in their right mind would charge $3.50 for a bombing session people already paying 4 to 5 bucks just to swim in 1 pool pretty much cos the outdoors is closed. I wouldn't recommend going here your better off going to mangere papatoetoe or otara save your money whanau.

Negative experience: You guys are expensive yet the pool is filthy. Been like that since last month. Thought this time it'll be different. I feel sick aftwards. Sooo filthy. You can actually see dirt at the bottom of the pool, both the kids area, the bombing area and the other side. Otahuhu pools is free for children even bombing and it's free and very clean. Keep up

Positive experience: Good time with the kids. Under 17 being free is a good bonus. Nice facility with options as to what you want to do. Is in Papakura so not expect the top facility but definitely up to par

Positive experience: Lovely place for kids and adults.

Negative experience: Extremely cold pool, my 3-year old was shivering the entire time. People kept leaving the door wide open, staff did not seem to care to help keep it closed. They say the pool is heated to 30 degrees, however the cold air in the room does not help keep the water warm at all. Will not return in cooler seasons for this reason. Family room did not have a shower nor toilet in it. The pool itself seemed dirty, however this could be an effect of the tiles colour - though the pool floor did feel a bit slippery, so probably due for cleaning. Lockers for hire are cash only.

Fantastic experience: Cullen is amazing he is lovely, friendly and very informative person he helped us booked party room for our girl he is very honest with giving out information and make sures you choose the right deal. 10/10 for his customer service

Negative experience: Incosistant height restrictions for the slide, incosistant times for doing bombs with plenty of staff on and no reason not to run sessions, And honestly it's as warm as a 2 hour old bath.. Which is fine in the summer but its not summer anymore.. Turn the dam tempature up

Fantastic experience: Had a great doggy day at the pool.

Negative experience: Fun in the lazy river and nice and cheap but really confused about the swimming attire, big signs stating what could and couldn't be worn so off we go $40 later we come back with appropriate clothing only to find kids swimming in full length pants and ladies in full length t-shirts. Lots of people, an oil film on top of pool and snot coming out of another swimmers nose has confirmed to our family that we will not swim in south side again.

Fantastic experience: One of the better and best pool center not owned by Auckland Council. Love their spa, sauna and steam the best they have a water fountain and are great slide. The water temperature is right but spa can have more bubbles and more showers other then that reasonable parking handy to local shops and supermarkets and train station they also have a gym area for extra :-)

Positive experience: A good complex for all ages. Plenty of swimming options, all the usual signs about running no bombs etc pity the staff couldn't read the one about no food.

Positive experience: Great place to swim but the walls of swimming lanes and spa are well overdue for cleaning as the scum marks are getting worse. Bit of baking soda and elbow grease needed to remove and keep clean.

Negative experience: It's your average pools, the reason for the 1 star rating is the price, $4.50 per visit. That feels like salt in the wound when you pay almost $2,000 a year on rates and it specifically mentions that it's supposed to cover pools and parks. I remember when pools were free.

Negative experience: Poor service especially on the wrkend. Cant find much staff around . Got told by the cashier that their sauna and steamer are both closed due to some maintenance. After 10 minutes we saw people came out of the sauna. Went to the spa omg so many people there but some dnt hve any waist bands on and some are wearing different color waist bands. So confused .

Fantastic experience: Never had a bad experience here. Staff are friendly, facilities seem clean. Please don't leave bags/belongings unattended as there's been a few thefts here. You're not allowed to bring scooters inside either so probably best to leave those at home.

Positive experience: My autistic 4 year old son came for swimming lessons here his swim coach was fantastic and patient. I believe her name was Naomi :) Unfortunately the costs of lessons are not something we can afford anymore. Feedback - the facilities aren't always clean (the bathrooms in particular), it could really do with updating, car parking is chaos sometimes we were late for lessons because there were no parks (including the entire street), staff seemed pretty helpful, I love that you have the pataka there, & the spa isn't the greatest - most of the jets don't work well which I feel defeats the purpose especially when you pay extra to use it. I hope some changes are on the way because this place has so much potential to be better. Thanks for reading

Positive experience: Our instructors picked us up from school for our water safety programme. Instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful especially with kids who were not confident with the water.
