YMCA Gym Upper Hutt

Fantastic experience: Good gym, I personally go here. It's a nice quiet gym not many people and pretty much every peace of equipment you'll ever need.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of the Upper Hutt YMCA gym for a couple of years now. Friendly helpful staff. Recently I travelled to Uganda. Long haul flights both ways with road travel there not comfortable. I was very surprised to find my weekly yoga classes n 2-3 times weekly strengthening programme's kept my body together and supple. Usually after 3 weeks away I notice stiffening in my lower back n hips. Thanks Jill, Deb n David.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love going to this gym! The staff are always so friendly and smiling. The facilities are top notch and the group classes are thoroughly enjoyable too. The membership has no contract which makes things so much easier especially if you’re going on holiday for a while. Couldn’t recommend The Y enough.

Positive experience: Not a bad gym at all and a convenient location to the sports facilities. Great offer being able to pay $15 for 3 days use.

Fantastic experience: We attended the dance zumba exercise in this place. It's big enough to hold 100 to 150 for the zumba. They do it every Saturday morning for 1 hour. Good place for hiragana.

Positive experience: Reasonably priced, great location, lots of parking. Very small but I needed the 24 hour access and my preference is weights. Very friendly staff and quick responses to queries. Family oriented in terms of classes and packages. Not the bells and whistles but that’s not what I wanted anyway!

Fantastic experience: This is a great communally focussed gym. Good prices, nice equipment and knowledgeable friendly staff. 10/10 best gym in Lower/Upper Hutt.

Fantastic experience: Only been member for a week but welcomed. Shown my exercises with trainer who went through each step and explained clearly reason for doing such. Well organised. They monitor your progress and are willing to point out your faults but give praise and support when needed. I feel welcome when there.

Fantastic experience: Cheap family membership. Has great fitness equipment. Not like most gyms the posers keep away. This means no waiting time to utilise fitness machines, great weight room or basketball court. Highly recommended....
