Fantastic experience: Joining Fitstop NP has been an amazing experience so far. The schedule, the app, the comms, the workouts, the community are all amazing… but it’s the staff that make it. Caring, enthusiastic, kind but brutal! The perfect team. I can’t rate it high enough!

Fantastic experience: The best gym! An inclusive and welcoming place where you get to workout and have a laugh with great people. They have a space for kids too - mine love coming, and this has made exercise so much more accessible. Highly reccomend!

Fantastic experience: Great range of workouts, supportive and knowledgeable owners and coaches, clean and well equipped facility. Bonus to be able to take little ones when need be and to have a range of time slot options for classes each day - no excuses!! Just turn up and get stuck in. I thought I was joinng a gym, but what I found was a warm, welcoming and fun community. Recommend giving it a try no matter your age or stage

Fantastic experience: Fitstop New Plymouth has been life changing for me. From being an OG, taking a break and coming back I feel like it’s my happy place. The owners and trainers are such beautiful people and help push yourself to be your best. They have a kids area if you’re a parent who needs to bring their kids along. They provide great in-house challenges and keeps the programme entertaining and achievable. Love Fitstop! Stop at nothing

Fantastic experience: I joined Fitstop NP in January 2025 and honestly couldn't of asked for a better experience stepping back into the gym scene after many years off! The trainers are amazing and so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable and I've always been made to feel comfortable even though group fitness classes can be intimidating. The workouts are the best and my fitness has greatly improved in the last 6 months. Highly recommend Fitstop NP!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Fitstop New Plymouth for a few months now and I can’t rate it highly enough. The workouts are always different, the trainers are knowledgeable and encouraging – they actually take the time to get to know you and help you improve, no matter what level you're at. The vibe in the gym is really positive too. If you're looking for a gym that pushes you in the best way, with a good bunch of people around you, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go.

Fantastic experience: I have tried many gyms over the years with varying likes and dislikes but they all had one thing in common….Isolation. Accountability was up to me but I felt a sense of disconnection and judgement in every gym I went to. Fitstop is different and I love it. I feel included and part of a community. They are supportive, knowledgeable, and the classes are fun. I’m seeing results I never thought imaginable and doing things I have been to scared to try in the past such as a deadlift and box jump (I had no clue how to do it safely). I’m thankful I gave Fitstop a go and for their support. It is definitely going to be my home gym going forward. Thanks for everything Fitstop team.

Fantastic experience: Fitstop New Plymouth is more than just a gym it’s a community as well! When I first started I wanted to loose a couple of kgs for my wedding but ended up losing 15kgs and by still going I’ve managed to keep it off 2 years later. 100% recommend to anymore

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym where the coaches and owners go above and beyond! Just pitch up and they’ll take care of you. Each training phase challenges you and forces you out of your comfort zone. Honestly- moving to another country is incredibly difficult. The Fitstop community is second to none and has made it that much easier.

Fantastic experience: Fitstop New Plymouth is hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to! The variety of classes keeps every workout exciting and challenging, and the energy in the gym is always so motivating. The community vibe here is amazing – everyone is welcoming and supportive, which makes it such a fun place to train. The trainers are awesome too they’re always there to help, offering encouragement and giving modifications for any movement when needed. Another huge plus is the kids area that’s available for every class – an absolute lifesaver for mums who want to get a workout in without the stress. I leave every session feeling stronger, happier, and part of a great community. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: You couldn’t ask for a better community to be apart of. Fitstop encompasses all aspects of health and well-being and the best possible outcomes for its members. Classes are well structured but easily adapted to suit individual needs and injuries. Nothing is ever too much for the trainers to assist with, they go above and beyond in and out of the classes. The extra mahi they put in to provide events, information sessions and alternative exercise options outside of scheduled class time is amazing. They are kind, caring, welcoming and make going to the gym a really positive experience and for many a safe space to do something for themselves. Also having a safe, comfortable spot for the tamariki takes away barriers for many and is a great thing for them to see their parents looking after their bodies. Can’t recommend fitstop enough and I’ve been to many gyms in my life, just none with this level of positive vibes.

Fantastic experience: The FitStop Challenge has upped the game even more, if that’s possible. All of the coaches make us feel like we have personal trainers as they make time to identify our needs, ensure we perform safely and most effectively and adapt exercises to meet our needs and abilities. Professionalism and attention to individual client needs are where the coaches really shine.

Fantastic experience: The best gym in town, maybe even NZ! Awesome trainers who listen and understand the needs of their clients, they're flexible, approachable, and fun! Bonus points for providing a safe environment for kids to play so that Mum's get a chance to train too! A place for everyone to get fit and have fun!

Fantastic experience: A barrier to exercise for me was having a young son, and fitstop have completely removed that. I love he can come anytime of the day with me, and the trainers are so insanely flexible. I feel so seen, heard and valued- the trainers take time to get to know every person who walks through those doors. It is worth every cent, I will run myself broke before I give up fitstop

If you want to make a difference to your strength, co-ordination and fitness, this is the place to be.
