Ara - The Zone Sports Science & Wellness Centre

The Zone is a sports science & wellness centre based in the Whareora bulding at Ara's Christchurch City Campus. We provide fitness testing and assessment services for elite and recreational athletes, clinical groups, and those who are just interested in knowing the status of their fitness, health and wellness. We can also design assessment and training programmes for a wide range of clients and can tailor these to suit. We have sophisticated equipment that can measure your oxygen consumption, movement, speed, force production, muscle and body fat mass. We offer school holiday programmes and other educational services including being able to provide NCEA curriculum content for schools and seminars tailored for our clients needs.
