Fantastic experience: Total result - joined whilst visiting from the UK. There’s no one filming themselves in the mirror for the "Gram." It’s just normal blokes and lasses in slightly bobbled joggers getting on with it. If you drop a plate, someone will give you a sympathetic "Ooh, bit heavy that, innit?" rather than a dirty look. It’s lovely. It's remarkably civilised, you walk in and it's not blasting that "doof-doof" techno music at a volume that makes your teeth ache. Also, lookout for the owners, they great bunch of people - especially the chap with the glasses. He'd drop some words of wisdom on your lifting form like having a master mechanic listen to a slightly rattling engine without any judgement.

Negative experience: extremely overpriced and very rude and insensitive employees! Mason is extremely aggressive. Revoke memberships for small reasons AND THEY WAIT TILL YOUR MEMBERSHIP RENEWS TO REVOKE YOU!!

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend this gym enough. I joined only for the yoga and Pilates classes but the instructors are so welcoming and the classes are so much fun I ended trying a bunch of other classes too! And kept at it cause I enjoy it so much. Family owned and you can tell by how close knit everyone is, not just the staff but the community as well. If you’re shy just take the leap! There is no shame at this gym, just encouragement and empowerment. Wish I joined this place sooner.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, that is open for people of any age or fitness level- you are always welcome there. I was looking for a friendly environment, family feel gym, and I have found it here. They are kids friendly too, and I find it very attractive for some parents.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Champs regularly for almost a year now and I can't speak highly enough about the team and the facilities. The gym itself is immaculate and the management and team of personal trainers are brilliant. Great to have a local gym in the eastern bays. Highly recommended.
