Fitness Now Gym Manukau

Negative experience: This gym has a lot of potential. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which helps create a positive atmosphere. There is a great variety of classes including boxing, hula, and Zumba, which are perfect for anyone looking to try different cardio options. The weight area is well equipped, and the gym is usually not crowded, so wait times for machines are minimal. However, there are several issues that need attention. The cardio equipment, especially the treadmills, is poorly maintained. Out of eight treadmills, only two work properly. The others stop abruptly during use, which is unsafe. Most people end up relying on the same two machines, making the problem worse. It would really help if management brought in maintenance staff to inspect and service the equipment regularly. The male changing rooms are also in poor condition. They are dusty and dirty, which makes using the showers uncomfortable. Cleanliness needs to be taken more seriously. Parking is another ongoing issue. There are very few spaces available, and most of them are taken by neighboring businesses. During peak hours, members often have to park on the street or behind the building. If these issues were addressed, this gym could easily become a five-star facility. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration.

Positive experience: Nice gym lots of heavy steel plates and boxing room is great. Not too packed n not 2 pricey. Only problem is it dirty and dusty everywhere in every corner top and bottom hasn't had good clean in years it looks like . Toilets in desperate need of a renovation and a deep clean.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym just signed up today owner was friendly and gym was spacious and had alot of equipment, it has a separate upstairs area with boxing bags and good for stretching physio or if you just want a quiet space to do some light dumbell work. It's good cause it doesn't get over packed and also meet like minded people and have some good chats

It’s a safe and friendly environment everyone needs in their life. Fantastic experience: Fitness now Manukau is filled with energy, passion and creativity! They also have classes available if you want to do something other than weightlifting :) (hula classes, boxfit, team challenges). It’s an amazing environment to be around. The best part is that THE GYM IS NEVER EVER BUSY as there is a limit of how many people can join ;) which is AMMAAZZIINNGGGGG!

The equipment is exceptional, the classes are all inclusive for young and old and it’s a cheerful environment that makes everyone feel comfortable. Positive experience: Apparently the equipment breaks quite a bit because members don't look after it. But it is affordable. Low weekly payments.

Fantastic experience: This gym is 100% the best gym in Manukau, the new owner has literally transformed it in less than year. The equipment and layout is unbelievable and they keep on improving this regularly. The amount of time and investment that has gone into this gym is incredible and the fact that is still the cheapest gym in town says it's all.
