Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym. Have been a member of club physical on and off for about 4 years. Both of my sons have attended the kids club, and they both love it there. The woman who look after the kids are AMAZING! shout out to kev my personal trainer. I would not be where I am today without his knowledge and time spent, also love the X45 stegnth classes. The woman are so uplifting and encouraging. Such a good vibe! Club physical is my second home. I feel very confertable there. 5 star! Definately worth the money with what they have to offer. What other gyms have a pool, spa, sauna, recovery room.(ice bath, inferred sauna). Wouldn't wana go anywhere else☺️

Fantastic experience: Best gym in west Auckland! They have such a great variety of equipment. Great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly. There is also a kids club in the mornings. Great for mums. Highly recommend this gym you won’t be disappointed.

Negative experience: It's not 24 hours. the price is ridiculous i come here with my mom when im in auckland and we have to spend a ridiculous amount of money because they have no 1 month or even 3 month option, i cant stand the atmosphere here ethier. the only good thing about this gym is the amount of equipment and things they have to do. but even then, some of the equipment is rusting and needs replacing. DO NOT GO HERE.

Positive experience: Tried their 5day $29 trial while up for the wknd. Friendly helpful staff. Great extra facilities like sauna, spa pool, outdoor swimming pool, child care play area, ballet barr classes, big room to do 100s of virtual REAL PEOPLE video classes at any time by yourself, a few group classes daily, women's only workout area, women's sauna in changing rooms. Tried the group barr class which was awesome, teacher lovely and supportive abd encouraging. A member told me her membership offered a free membership to a family member. Gym is a little tired looking but members are very friendly and GREAT facilities if you looking for a gym that offers LOTS of options of workouts and extra services.

Fantastic experience: Being a member for a while now I have to hand it to this gym -It’s a family run business with 40 years of experience and someone friendly and knowledgeable always available -It is a complete health club with the absolute works: weights, cardio, wrestling, mma, CrossFit, yoga, classes, cycling, pool, sauna, spa, women’s section, kids section, etc -They are constantly improving and updating programs and equipment -The members are young and old with all types of goals. Everyone is chill and there is no judgement ✌️ If you are looking for a place to get started or a place with more facilities then this is the one ✅ This gym now affects my choices when I am moving house lol keep it up Club Phys!!

Fantastic experience: A very welcoming gym with excellent facilities. It is one of the few gyms that has a nice spa and large swimming pool. For the weight lifter there are three areas... a woman's gym, a smaller room where any basic exercise can be done, and a large area where every conceivable exercise can be accommodated. Plus various other plans, wrestling, boxing etc. Definitely worth checking out.

Fantastic experience: An absolutely amazing gym. I left club physical as I had moved out of area but as soon as I moved back I joined back up without thinking about joining a gym I go past to get to Club Physical. Kev is an amazing trainer who encourages and push you to go more and more each time. I need encouragement to go back to the gym especially by myself, the staff have definitely helped with getting me back often. Love how there’s a ladies gym. The reception staff are so supportive and remember you and your goals/things you are training for after seeing them for the first time. The gym is always so clean and you always see the staff walking around cleaning. An amazing bunch of staff. Best gym out

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Club Physical for about three years now, and during that time, I have seen many changes in the gym around me. The equipment has gotten better and the cleanliness of the changing rooms have improved dramatically. I love working out at Club Physical because it is a place where I can be myself and not have to worry about what others think of me. It is a place where I can forget about the stresses of everyday life and just focus on working out. It has helped me become more confident in my own skin, as well as helping me lose weight and get in shape. The staff at Club Physical are very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable and they know how to motivate me in order for me to achieve my fitness goals. They always have suggestions on how to improve my fitness level and they are always willing to help me with anything that I need. Extremely grateful. 4.5 Stars. Would recommend. Only downside is that Club Physical is not a 24 hour gym, otherwise I would give 5 stars. x

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym and its members. Uplifting and positive. The staff and owners feel like members of my own family. I'm unsure about comments of gang members as I have never seen anyone here causing trouble or bikes etc parked outside in the 7 years I have been coming here. This is the most friendly inclusive environment and I'd recommend it to anyone. My home away from home.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this place as they clearly tolerate BULLYING. A friend of mine who has been attending this gym for 7 years was recently banned. She has been bullied most of this year and when messaged a certain person due to a “underlying snarky comment” made on her post & management was contacted and she has now been banned from attending which I find disgusting. When victims stick up for themselves against BULLIES they get no support in return!!!

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Friendly staff. Classes are amazing I really enjoy the X45 classes that give you an extra push and the trainers are beyond helpful. The kids club is a bonus and my 6month old daughter loves it!

Positive experience: I alternate between Club Physical Whangaparaoa and Te Atatu. I love that there is a pool to cool off in after a workout, the staff and other gym-goes are incredibly friendly. The facilities are great and this place is huge, with all kinds of equipment you could want. The only reason that this isn't a 5 star review is that some of the equipment is quite tired. The dumbbell collars on the olympic lifting equipment are worn, rusty and bent and the weighted barbells are well past their use by date. The bars are rusty and the weights are missing most of their paint. That minor and easily fixable criticism aside, this is a fantastic gym and you should sign up.

Fantastic experience: Hi only problem is the timing on ssturday and sunday as it is very short. Can we expect atleast some flexibility in time on saturday and sunday . It would have been good if they start by 5 Am on staurdays and sundays and close by 8 pm unlike 8 Am to 6pm wer people working by 9 to 6 miss those two days

Positive experience: Lost a star. The showers are ficklely. They go hot and good still. Haven't been there for a while due to showers bring so poor quality stream flow.

Fantastic experience: A very large and well equipped gym. Gets hot in summer in areas that are only fan cooled (air con) in some rooms). Good outdoor swimming pool, large hot pool/spa, showers and dry sauna. Creche room and ladies gym as well.

Negative experience: They put for sale a big pile of rubbish calling it "lockers", misleading buyers with some good photos. I wanted to go and view before buying and they didn't reply my calls and msgs. I have asked questions and their reply was again misleading. After having my ankle injured and recovered a bit we have agreed for a time and he didn't evwn bothered to be there. I've stayed with my son for more then 5 minute trying to figure out if I can make at least any good ones from this trade, no chance though. I was almost sure this is gonna happen this, hence I took lots of photos with all the rubbish and I'll email trade me and post it up on media. He only took good photos, not all way around to show your pile of rubbish. What a citizen you are!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. Great club and gym. Very friendly helpful staff great range of equipment. Kids club is an amazing feature. Great carers in the kids club I feel confident having my child go there so I can have an hours work out. Definitely recommend sessions with personal trainer Kevin also! Great rate, amazing experience.

Negative experience: Leaving a negative review here as purple girl barbs is affiliated with this organisation and has manipulated online reviewing systems for her personal and selfish gain. She has tarnished our business with vial text and not been a person of their words. Her petty and frivolous values should be questioned as her actions affect others.

Negative experience: Facility was good but was so disappointed that they were trying to charge me 45$ for terminating my contract to them even if it was not stated in the contract... damn, they almost robbed me... never again!

Negative experience: One star because of the lack of and poor communication! Ended up getting billed for more than the membership fee from Debit success because club Physical they didn’t tell the company that I had cancelled off my membership! I called debit success and they said club Physical didn’t cancel it and that I need to call them to make sure! Called Physical and they said they would call them and then give me a call! Didn’t receive any call and when I called them, they said that they had tried to call me! But obviously not because I’m always on my phone!!! A big headache and waste of time! I’d recommend doing a walk in when it comes to these things.

Negative experience: Went to play squash. Changing rooms stink of urine. Its disgusting and there is no excuse for this other than the staff cannot be bothered to clean and the owner/operator cannot be bothered to maintain. Will not go there again.

Fantastic experience: Very spacious and people at the counter are very polite. I love the Swedish sauna upstairs with plenty of space. Other than that, the whole stretch area, workout area and ladies only area are tidy and have enough machines to go on. So far I love it.

Positive experience: I went as a plus 1 with a member. I used to be a member before switching to another place. The gym has lots of useful workout spaces but is a little tired. The equipment is ecclectic. Nice staff and they have an outdoor pool

Fantastic experience: BEST GYM OUT WEST. It has upgraded massively with lots of new fitness equipments added and heaps of room/space for workouts! Great environment, friendly and helpful staff members and Affordable Memberships!!! I 100% recommend to all!

Negative experience: Poor Hygiene in the sauna or spa or pool. I have complained more than once but nothing is been done to enforce people to shower before entering in their spa or sauna. Quite disgusting consider that you go to a gym to get fit and Healthy. The staff, especially the manager was not helpful so I had to cancel my membership. Be aware if you have a poor immune system or love to be in a clean environment this is NOT the place to go.

Positive experience: Positive things: This one has some really good equipment such as semi-pro droppable bars, a very good hyperextension "Roman" chair which are somewhat rare in NZ, and also a good heavy dumbbell set, up to 60kg. Space is never a problem. Negative things: The gym is however somewhat dirty and I'd not recommend using the pool unless you enjoy having a fungus infection. The showers are quire disgusting, especially the one near the pool. The gym feels understaffed (not that I care though). The only truly negative experience that I've had so far was with the gym manager Kathy who is (sadly) just a typical low-tier gym manager who has no honour. She promised me something when I sighed up and then later (when it came to using this thing) she said "no". I did expect this though (not my first gym, not the first gym manager I met) but a part of me was still was hoping for a miracle.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, has great facilities although they're in the middle of an upgrade right now. The staff is great! They knew me by name after just a few times going and my personal trainer Crystal is wonderful. Would 100% recommend!
