Negative experience: Freezing cold pool. No thanks

Positive experience: Great swimming pool for summer. I've been told it's 25m. Usually not too busy and most people are pretty good at sharing or splitting a lane. There are no slow, medium and fast lanes so splitting one tends to be best. The lifeguards are really friendly and good though could keep the kids out of the lanes a bit more I guess. Open October to April and definitely my favourite BOP pool.

Fantastic experience: Only downside to this place is no bombing, as well as the fact the gigantic black guy in the pool keeps touching my legs

Positive experience: Great basic outdoor pools in a really nice spot. But changing rooms and facilities are old and feel quite tired.

Fantastic experience: Cheap, great outlook onto Memorial Park, a larhe medium depth pool with nice wide steps along the long side and fun floaty things scattered around to play with. Kids love it. And lane pools for the adults.

Positive experience: The pools are fantastic, we will be back. Needs more shade & more pools. Memorial Park space usage is terrible. Move the Skate area over by the ramp & create more pools in that space.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to swim over summer. Awesome location with the playground and beach just in arms reach. Affordable for families. Lovely grassed areas for picnics

Positive experience: Love swimming in this outdoor pool as it's often not too busy so possible to swim properly. The other swimmers always polite and considerate when sharing a lane. Changing rooms old and dated though- think school swimming pool standard. Staff friendly but they don't interact that much with swimmers & they could be more consistent with enforcing the pool rules. Overall, a great place to swim. Shame it's not open for a longer period over summer, or later into the evening.
