Positive experience: Great 50m pool, though not available at that length often enough through the week. Could do with a Monday or Tuesday morning 50m session also. Cafe mediocre but at least there is one.

Negative experience: Paid for annual membership but was unable to use the gym due to clubactive not honouring the gym induction and personal training session (gym membership was purchasing post surgery so needed to ensure the right use to stay safe). Hydropool is good resource but also not fully available and was closed with no notice on multiple occasions. Classes were full and not able to sign up yet on the occasions waitlisting worked there were less than half the class turning up. Parking is an issue and if you are mobility impaired be aware if parking at hydrotherapy pool entrance you then need to walk to other street due to the doors being locked. Overall really poor experience. NOTE: unable to reply to clubactive response but if they checked their records they would see I made multiple attempts to get the induction booked a few months after covid restrictions were fully lifted but still not able. They said they could only offer it as a paid session (so had people available just chose not to honour the paid membership). Their response also fails to recognize my feedback that there were under half the class turning up yet people unable to sign up / attend. Clubactive needs to be a lot more customer focused.

Fantastic experience: Doesn't get very busy so not often waiting for your machines, although it is small so if it does get busy that can be a barrier. Good selection of machines and equipment. I enjoy having access to the pool, spa, sauna and steam room. Staff are very helpful and nice.

Positive experience: It is a bad gym but the largest swimming pool in the reigon. On Thursday mornings and Friday mornings the pool becomes 50 M olympic swimming pool

Fantastic experience: Really good gym, pricing a bit above average but worth it. Fantastic range of gym equipment and machines but also gives you access to the pool and spa/sauna facilities. Every is cleaned frequently and very polite friendly staff/trainers
