Fantastic experience: Love the anytime access and the friendly vibe even when there's some serious sessions under way.

Fantastic experience: the staff are open to a chat, and make you feel welcome. The place is clean and tidy and the equipment is well maintained. I enjoy going there, which is so important for keeping fit.

Positive experience: Dropped in here while passing through Dunedin and picked up a 7-day pass on their website. This is my first time in an Anytime Fitness Gym and I must say I am super impressed. If they are all like this, and since there seem to be affiliated gyms all over the world, I think I'll join! They have lots of equipment, both cardio and weights, and an open airy atmosphere.

Positive experience: Lovely staff and culture, only a couple of things that aren't perfect, such as the layout (punching bag in stretching area) and the showers having poor ventilation and getting very hot when you take a shower. Would highly recommend.

Positive experience: It was a good gym but it was super cramped and had no individual changing rooms. Just bathrooms with really wet floors. Also no dedicated deadlifting area, and no where good to set up for deadlift without having to haul weights half way across the room. Lots of varied core and arm machines though, so that was nice :)

Fantastic experience: I live in Australia and I have been a member of AF for many years. I am so thankful for the AF network, now that I am back home in Dunedin for a few weeks. I have now visited AF Dunedin a couple of times and am seriously impressed at the quality of equipment, cleanliness and just how the space has been used - its a really great place to workout. Love the location also! My first vist was on a Sunday, when a lot of gyms tend to get a bit messy, and this gym was spotless! Really good vibe!

Fantastic experience: A well-equipped, clean and tidy AF location. Close to where I was staying in St Clair for a few days while touring the South Island. Up-to-date exercise bikes, plenty of parking outside. Would recommend.

Positive experience: Always able to use equipment even during peak time. Some issues with equipment means that we are unable to watch live TV or listen to music while on treadmills or bikes etc.

Positive experience: Nice gym but not the best if you want to do compounds. Only 2 squat racks (with no other place to benchpress) which are often taken.

Fantastic experience: Great and clean gym. Open 24/7. Clean showers. Limited classes though.

Negative experience: I went there to ask for some information to join the gym and if I could get the free trial they offer before joining and the woman told me they just give trials to people who want to join. Who could I know if I don’t try it first? It makes no sense. Not very friendly staff, the woman barely explain anything about the group classes they offer. So better go to other place if you are a backpacker it looks they don’t like us here.

Negative experience: Friendly staff and professional. Rather mediocre gym as a whole. Not the most modern equipment. Unpleasant odour about the place. Certainly not worth the price in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. The staff are friendly and it never gets too busy (at the times I go anyway) to get on to the equipment you want to use.

Negative experience: Sorry but after some time here I've only had negatives. Cold fans on a 4° day made me cough on the bikes. Cold showers and too many rehab people from the building nextdoor & you have to wait for equipment. Never any carparks in busy times due to the neighbors. There are much better gyms out there. 15 in Dunedin area actually! So I've moved on.

Negative experience: Disapointed. Started off as a good gym but once the machines got some use they started not being able to sync woth your phone or even load a tv show

Positive experience: A pretty great gym - was a member for a year before moving on to working out from home. The equipment was almost new when I started but years of wear and tear seem to be causing the quality of the equipment to go down. Unfortunately you have about a 10% chance of actually syncing the LFConnect equipment with the app to track your workouts - not really a big issue for most but I was pretty disappointed that this was never rectified toward the end of my membership there.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, clean and tidy, great atmosphere. Range of cardio, weight machines, and free-weights, fully equip to meet everyone's need. Shower facility is available for convenience, and more over, the gym is accessible at Anytime!! I totally love it!
