Negative experience: Missed payment twice, sent a $1700 bill no communication would not reccomend.

Fantastic experience: I've been signed up to this gym for about a month now and can happily give it 5 stars. The equipment is clean, well maintained and a wide variety to choose from. Ive seen a rotation of the staff who work there and all come across as genuinely friendly and approachable.

Fantastic experience: I started working out about a year ago and despite staying consistent being a personal challenge, I have always felt like it was easier to do at Flex. The staff are welcoming even in early mornings and late afternoons. I think the positive environment the staff has built really helps with showing up and trying my best. It’s a small gym but it’s good seeing the same faces every week.

Fantastic experience: My home location is Queenstown, but being away for the weekend I was happy to know there was a location in Dunedin! SUPER NICE LOCATION. Lots of parking. Clean indoor gym space and organized! Makes a huge difference in your training mindset to have a clean space to work with. I appreciate all the cleaning equipment easily accessible on the gym floor and was nice to have all the space between each piece of equipment. Variety was also there. As well as a separate room for other training options. I really enjoyed my time here! And love the entrance and space they’ve created here.

Equipment and showers all in good condition, gym seems to have a “family” aura about it to ease any newcomer!

Fantastic experience: Visited this gym on a work trip and it was really great! The staff are awesome, it’s a super welcoming vibe. The equipment is all new, modern & it’s clean and tidy. There is parking outside and a smoothie bar - so good!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Flex for 4years + and I love the place! The PTs are friendly and approachable . The members are pretty lovely too....even though I have my game face on most of the time they still walk past me with a smile. The Reception staff are awesome! Olivia Burgess is fantastic young lady and guaranteed a wee laugh at the end of my workout! Her Smoothies are to die for!!!

Fantastic experience: Honestly the loveliest staff ❣️ I’ve made so many friends for life from flex! Such fantastic equipment, always clean! Downside would probably be the lack of space! Would be epic if the gym expanded! I was so sad to change gyms earlier this year, but felt like I needed an extra push ever since flex got rid of their tribe classes (which I loved!!) Would definitely come back if they got tribe back. Was such an amazing thing! Love you all, team flex!! (Especially Liv) Xxxxx

Fantastic experience: I have been to a few gyms before BUT this gym is not only a gym but a workout family. Everyone is so lovely, supportive and helpful. I have done a couple of Pt sessions with Oshan and she made me so so comfortable and confident all within 2 sessions, she has so much knowledge and experience and supports you no matter your goal! The gym is also so clean and equipment ready to use! All the staff are incredible and I could not recommend a better gym

Fantastic experience: This is a really good gym. Flex fitness has good equipment, spacious and has friendly welcoming people working there. Nose big carpark. Handy location across the road from Moyles Super Value. Modern and spacious bathroom/showers always kept nice and clean. I go in the mornings and it is not usually crowded. Gym fees are reasonable. Good fast wifi on site.

Negative experience: Great gym though I only signed up for 1 year membership thinking payments will stop at the end of the year. This did no happen and iv been paying for 2 years now while being over seas. I think they should state this to you before signing you up for a year contract. Feeling ripped off. The guy who signed me up should have told me as he knew I was heading overseas.

Negative experience: I've been a member since they opened. Always re-racked my weights, cleaned after myself and re-arranged the weights if others left them around or put them in the wrong spot (my OCD) Once...ONCE...I forgot to put my weights away as I was planning to superset later on, but I got carried away with other things and I simply forgot about them..... later that day (Saturday) I get a somewhat rude voicemail from the gym manager reminding me that I have to put my weights away and if I dont call back my key tag will be removed. I called back 5 times that day with no answer. On Monday I called again to get an explanation from her. She said I left "a lot" of gear around...I called her out on the lie, told her I knew exactly what I left behind and that there's no need for threats...Also asked why she didn't pick up the phone on Saturday as I called back minutes after I listened to my voicemail. She said she only went in for a workout...she wasn't actually working that day...now here's the funny part. On her day off she went out of her way to find out the culprit that didn't unstack the trap bar. And made sure he gets told off..ON HER DAY OFF...power tripping.... Long story short... I've quit...back to Snap now. Out of my way, really, but worth the extra 6 minute drive...
