Welcome to The Yoga Space Hastings, a serene sanctuary nestled in the heart of Heretaunga Street, Hastings, where yoga is honored not just as a physical exercise, but as a profound path to union, healing, and self-discovery. We invite you to join our supportive sangha—a community of seekers and practitioners dedicated to waking up to the richness of everyday life through movement, breath, and mindfulness.
Our studio is a collective of passionate, experienced teachers, each bringing their unique lineage and gifts to the mat. From traditional Hatha yoga and restorative Yin flows to meditative practices, sound healing with Tibetan bowls, and Ayurvedic wisdom, our diverse classes cater to all levels. Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the very first time or deepening a decades-long practice, you will find a safe, nurturing environment where you can connect with your body, steady your mind, and explore the deeper aspects of being.
Explore our wide range of offerings, including "Move Like a Yogi" for gentle strength and flexibility, "ACE: Yoga for Beginners" to build a solid foundation, and specialized sessions like Prenatal Yoga. Teachers such as Radha, with her 500+ hour training in Hridaya yoga and meditation; Silke, a Reiki Master and sound healer; and Erleen, who integrates trauma-aware practices, ensure that every class is tailored to individual needs while maintaining high standards of safety and authenticity. Join us for classes, silent retreats, and community events like Kirtan and Mantra chanting, and discover what becomes possible when you show up, again and again.

Fantastic experience: The Yoga Space is a beautiful, cosy space - a bit like a cocoon. Its still one of my favorite spots to guide from and also to attend sessions. There is a great selection of classes with skilled teachers and inspiring one off events. Highly recommend.

This space feels inclusive and diverse with a great intention behind it. The yoga teachers are very humble and knowledgeable. I love the cacao circle offerings that are put on quite regularly. Fantastic experience: The yoga space is one of my favourite places to both host and participate in yoga and wellness events. It is such a warm inviting space with so much heart behind it. Despite being above the gym it is a little sanctuary tucked away from the busyness of the city centre.
Fantastic experience: The Yoga Space...a quiet, humble, but powerful space that has allowed me to meet my true family here in Hawkes Bay. A space that has held tears, hugs, laughs, and deep shares. I would highly reccomend this studio if you are looking for real and authentic practice without the pretense of some larger studios.
