Gymnastica Gym Club

Welcome to Gymnastica Gym Club, New Plymouth’s premier destination for gymnastics and movement sports. Located at 16 Constance Street in Waiwhakaiho, we are a vibrant, not-for-profit community club run with passion by dedicated volunteers and certified coaches. As an affiliated member of Gymnastics New Zealand, we are committed to providing a high-quality, safe, and inclusive environment where individuals of all ages and abilities can thrive.

Our facility is fully equipped with a comprehensive range of gymnastics apparatus, including Olympic trampolines, double mini trampolines, fast tracks, tumbling tracks, and specialized ninja/warped wall equipment. We offer a diverse array of classes tailored to every stage of a gymnast’s journey. For our youngest athletes, our Mini Movers program introduces fundamental movement patterns through fun, caregiver-accompanied circuits. Older participants can join our Gym for All classes, which focus on the seven essential movement skills—such as landings, swings, rotations, and locomotion—that form the foundation for success in any sport.

For those looking to specialize, we offer exciting disciplines including Urban Gymnastics (combining traditional skills with parkour and tricking), Trampoline, and Tumbling. Our competitive teams in Tumbling and Trampoline provide advanced training for those aiming for higher levels of performance. Whether your goal is recreational fitness, skill development, or competitive excellence, our professional and accredited coaching staff are here to guide you every step of the way.

Beyond regular term-time classes, Gymnastica offers engaging School Holiday Programmes and fundraising events, ensuring that fun and activity continue even when school is out. We believe in active learning and participation, creating a supportive atmosphere where members develop strength, balance, spatial awareness, and confidence. Join us to experience the thrill of gymnastics in a club that truly puts its members first.
