Anytime Fitness Golden Sands

Negative experience: Absolutely shady business practices. I canceled my membership 6 months ago after moving out of the area and I haven't used an Anytime Fitness in at least 6 months. When I realised that series of charges on my bank account with a misleading name was actually Anytime Fitness I called the gym to try and fix the situation. The manager told me that since I couldn't provide written proof of my cancelation request they wouldn't refund me any of the money, would charge me for another 2 weeks once I submit a written cancelation request and threatened to send the bill to a collections agency if I didn't pay the additional $25.

Negative experience: Joined as an over '65' member and have enjoyed the team atmosphere and circuit classes but seriously guys you need to get your act together when you make a mistake it should not take 3 weeks or more to fix

Positive experience: Good place for workout but it’s not spacious as others, it’s very full during the peak hours. Staff onsite is very helpful and great.

Positive experience: Place has turned into a sauna outside of staffed hours the last two months. Can’t workout because it’s too hot. Walk in on a 22 degree day and it’s even hotter inside

Negative experience: OVER CAPACITY DO NOT SIGN UP HERE!!!! If you are gyming at after school or work hours you will find yourself confined to a 1m square area and goodluck getting on a machine.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Lots of free weights and squat racks. Staff are really friendly too.

Fantastic experience: Lovely gym with the most welcoming staff. I appreciate that you become part of a family here as it makes such a difference in your workouts, knowing the staff and other members have such a great community. I find the group classes a great workout and enjoy their variety.
