Wellington Boxing Gym - Kilbirnie

Fantastic experience: Kia ora WBG, I've been part of this boxing whānau for a few years now. I had the pleasure of joining a Box Fit class this Monday morning 6am in Kilbirnie (not a usual class of mine). I have to say without miss, there are always warm welcomes with touch ups and we haven't even started the class yet. Too good! Everyone's been talking of this new coach Adam, so I had to go check it out for myself. His warm ups were nice to ease into, then he got us heating up on the combos with a sprinkling of running and floor work. Not only is coach Adam handsome, he's a natural on the , he even let me shout out Woohoo on the mic, neat alright! I mean, this guy even has his girlfriend, Mum & Dad and a few close buddies joining in on Boxfit and HiTT classes throughout the week. Once our session was up we all touched up - which is WBG's way of congratulating ourselves and finishing strong together! Coach Adam had the lolly jar out - I suspect his motto would be, "Do the work, get the treats!!" I have to say all the WBG coaches are phenomenal each with their own flare which makes it interesting and fun. Way to go WBG, yet another coach extraordinaire you've added to your team Deb

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere every time I do a class. Great culture and so easy to talk with any of the coaches about form and/or technique. Can be hard to step into a boxing gym, but trust me - everyone is supportive and encourages you to do your best! When I box at WBG, I feel like I’m apart of their whanau and I know everyone (both other members and coaches) are here for me. Highly recommend 10/10

Negative experience: Be careful signing up here. I signed up two years ago but couldn't make it to the training so I canceled my membership but it turned out they hadn't canceled it I was still paying for two years, till I could finally stop the payments, now I've been put onto a collection agency that are threatening me and wanting $400 immediately, for someone that's already struggling with money this has put me over the edge. Thanks wellington boxing and debit success. seems like a scam to me

Fantastic experience: I was a member for approximately 18 months until recently as I moved from Wellington. This gym is the best place I have ever worked out at. The owners, trainers, and members all contribute to the great atmosphere. Thank you all for the great experience.

Fantastic experience: This gym is mean. Experienced instructors/coaches, perfect size gym if your looking for low key place with high impact workouts. enough to get a lot out of your sessions. The logo is sick. It's a bit out of the way if you don't drive or live in the area but its defiantly worth the travel. Would recommend this gym to anyone wanting to learn how to box because the coaches know exactly what there doing and head coach is a pro boxer. Can't get better then that.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this gym since it started and I have found the atmosphere overwhelmingly supportive and welcoming. The classes are really awesome and the level of professionalism is fantastic. Asher is a fantastic coach, and fighter. Very professional gym that I highly recommend that you come and experience it for yourself.
