Fantastic experience: I am undergoing hormone and radiation therapy for prostate cancer. I was recommended to do weight bearing fitness exercises to help with treatment and recovery. I've been going to Prostfit sessions with Budda for about 2 months now. Wow, what an experience. I'm 74 and find the sessions tough but manageable and really enjoyable. I come home glowing and looking forward to the next session. My wife reckons I've grown taller each time I come home. Fantastic experience and really helping me get through treatment, with an awesome trainer and great.bunch of blokes. Cheers Mick

Fantastic experience: I booked and attended a series of PT sessions with the amazing, highly trained and qualified personal trainers at Smart Active Solutions. I had sessions with both Charlotte and Laura whilst I was staying temporarily in Glenbervie. I was impressed by the level of personalised training tailored to my goals. I was kept motivated by interesting workouts which were always changing and found that having a specific appointment kept me motivated. I felt very welcomed and at ease at Smart Active. I fully recommend this boutique gym to anyone who is thinking of joining a gym!

Fantastic experience: Being in the early stages of my prostate cancer journey Prost-fit has being hugely beneficial, as it's enabled me to mix with other men who have already gone through their various treatments and are now happily getting on their lives. In Whangarei we are blessed to have a trainer like Budda who mixes in a bit of humour with the exercises so us old fellas, even when we're huffing and puffing can still have a laugh.

Fantastic experience: Budda takes a Postfit Class for quite a few of us older gentlemen who have had Prostate Cancer at Kensington Park Fitness Centre once a week.I am so glad I was told about this, it's doing a great deal of good for us all, he is very caring about each blokes fitness level, and the variety of exercises he gives us keeps us interested and motivated. We all enjoy the banter on various subjects both while training and after having a coffee A great deal of appreciation from me and all the others.

Fantastic experience: I have really enjoyed the strength class with Laura. She educated us on correct form and technique for deadlifts and she also incorporated a variety of exercises to help improve our strength. Laura is always positive and encouraging. I will certainly be doing another strength class when it is on.

Fantastic experience: Budda, Charlotte and Laura are an awesome professional team. They do a full review of your current status and your goals to put a personal plan in place. They then work along side you to keep the focus, all in a fun and friendly environment. Training for a specific event? They will work with you to ensure your prepared and may even be at the event to support you. Its a wonderful team environment. Smart Active also have their own events and outing where members are invited to join them- Trail walks and cycling as well as fun runs and social gatherings. Highly recommend to anyone of any age or ability.

Fantastic experience: Budda and the team at Smart Active Solutions know their stuff! Training with these guys in both one on ones and groups is fun, rewarding and challenging. I’ve never felt stronger! I love my sessions and the variety that we get each week has set in place a love for keeping strong and fit, thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been a gym goer but started going to Budda over 2 years ago and absolutely love it. I came to him with some pretty big strength goals that I was miles away from achieving, he tailored the workouts to what I needed and after a lot of hard work I’m proud to have now ticked those goals off. Working out with Budda and his team is hard but enjoyable, and so so rewarding. I’ve never been fitter or stronger and being on the countdown to 40 yrs old that’s a great way to feel

Fantastic experience: I have had Laura coaching for the past 5 months. Laura makes the work outs fun and dynamic so I always look forward to a workout! If it’s a one on one, double PT or group bootcamp/strength class Laura still delivers on impact and alternatives for different levels/injuries too. I am seeing results in my strength and fitness level and enjoy working out again.

Fantastic experience: I recently started PT training at Smart Active Solutions with Charlotte. Fantastic! Great workouts that give me a push and meet my goals. Location is great and gym is welcoming and well equipped. Love the app to be able to book in workouts, makes it so easy.

Fantastic experience: This gym has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I was looking for personal one on one training tailored to met my fitness level and meet my goals. Laura my PT trainer adapts my workout each week and is challenging which is great ! She is very knowledgeable and knows her movements. The team here is awesome.

Fantastic experience: If taking the first step through the door of a gym is daunting, just like it was for me, I fully recommend Smart Active Solutions. Wikaire and his team have a lovely boutique studio and are so welcoming and friendly. Having not been at a gym for numerous years they have helped me to become comfortable and my fitness has increased 10 fold. The booking system is excellent and if you cannot make a session you can always look for another one that will work for you. So no excuses to miss one. :)

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Smart Active Solutions for just over a year now, although I was trained by Budda at a previous gym I attended, unfortunately for me Budda moved away. When the gym I was attending could no longer accommodate me, I reached out to Budda, and he took me in. Something I will never forget! His encouragement, dedication, support and banter has helped me so much. I am stronger both physically and mentally. Previous injuries have subsided and I feel pretty dam good for a middle aged woman & So thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Fantastic experience: I did a bootcamp through Smart Active Solutions and absolutely loved it. The trainers were so enthusiastic and fun and the workouts were challenging to suit all levels of fitness. Really liked the variation each week a class had too. The boutique studio is a lovely space with modern gear and machines, set in a beautiful rural setting with easy parking which is always a plus when trying to make a class on time. Highly recommend these guys!

Fantastic experience: Budda has been our small group trainer for about 4 years. We followed him from a larger gym to his backyard gym and now his new gym in Glenbervie. We are a small extended family group that attend Smart Active Solutions 3 x/wk. Although sessions are tough, we look forward to each session and miss those sessions we can’t make. Budda and Laura make every session different and push us to do our best. I definitely wouldn’t be achieving what I do if I just went to the gym on my own! I would definitely recommend Smart Active Solutions to anyone!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I started training 9 weeks ago with Laura from Smart Active, it's one of the best decisions we've made in a long time. We are so happy we chose Smart Active. The new gym is amazing and just a few mins up the road from our house which is very handy. Laura's been great with us, the training changes every week so it's fresh, fun and really challenging. I've been training my whole life in various sports and have never really enjoyed it, this is the first time I actually look forward to working out! It's nice to have small groups and to be able to choose your workout buddies ❤️ thank you Budda and Laura you're doing an awesome job!!
