Welcome to the Splashhurst Community Pool, a recently refurbished aquatic center located in the heart of Ashhurst, Palmerston North. Designed for visitors of all ages, our facility offers a safe, affordable, and engaging environment for fitness, learning, and family fun. Our site features two distinct pools: a 25-meter lap pool for serious swimmers and a dedicated Learn-to-Swim pool kept at a warmer 32.2°C for comfort and safety.
At the core of our program is our award-winning SwimMagic swim school. We provide a comprehensive curriculum that caters to everyone from babies aged six months to competitive junior swimmers and adults. Our structured progression ensures that learners of all abilities can master water safety and technique in a supportive setting. We also offer intensive lessons during school holidays and specialized squads focused on technique and performance.
For those looking to stay active without high impact, our Aqua Fitness classes provide a full-body workout. Whether you are interested in Aqua Aerobics to improve cardiovascular health, Water Pilates for core strength and balance, or the gentle Hikoi Club for mobility and rehabilitation, our sessions are designed to be enjoyable and effective. No swimming experience is required for these low-impact options, making them accessible to all community members.
Splashhurst is also the perfect venue for celebrations. Our dedicated Pool Parties allow you to host memorable birthday celebrations with easy booking and fun water activities. We understand the importance of accessibility, offering various pricing options including casual entry, family passes, and concession rates for seniors, students, and those with Gold Cards. Come dive in and enjoy everything our community facility has to offer.

Fantastic experience: Great little community pool. Tidy facilities and the kiddos pool was nice and warm. :)
Thanks for the great feedback, Jonathan, we hope to see you back soon!
Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff and the facilities are kept in very good order.
Fantastic experience: Super helpful staff. Facility was clean.
Negative experience: Put my kid in danger during swimming lesson. Moved my child up 2 levels just to save a buck because no one else was in her class im guessing then blames the parent and says this is where the kid should be for there age. Learning how to swim shouldn't go off age it should go off skill level.
Positive experience: Well maintained and very friendly and helpful staff

Positive experience: Clean and nice staff, but a lot of dive bombings and rugby practice going on (in the pool). It doesn't feel safe there at times.
