Negative experience: The number of bums that use the showers not actually gym. And also if you're lucky you will get your car vandalised and get verbally abused. The gym won't do anything about it just defend the person. Disgusting

Fantastic experience: I have been a loyal client of Anytime Fitness Tauranga for 10 years. The facilitiy offers different types of machines and enough available during the peak times. The trainers are amazing and are there to offer support if you have questions or would like a friendly chat. The coaches make all the difference to the atmosphere of the place. Love working out here!!!! Id recommend

Negative experience: I’ve tried putting my membership on hold for the last month and continued to be charged a full weekly fee each week since. I’ve rung during work hours, no one has ever picked up my calls. I’ve left multiple voice mails each time rung, no one has replied to me. I’ve emailed too, and still being charged. This is incredibly unsatisfactory.

Negative experience: My partner tried phoning this gym and leaving VMs multiple times just for no one to return his call, followed the correct steps trying to cancel his membership for months and is still to this day being billed….DO BETTER. Hundreds of dollars down the drain, useless. Seems like an ongoing issue for customers at anytime fitness.

Fantastic experience: Go several times a week. No judgements here just go in work out and leave. Staff are helpful if you need them

I’m really impressed with all the equipment and machines available. and there’s plenty of variety whether you’re into cardio, weights, or functional training. Top of the line treadmills. I also really appreciate how spacious the layout is – Bonus points for the clean showers and convenient parking. Definitely one of the best gyms I have visited. Highly recommend!

The location is ideal with lots of parking and the facility itself is great. I’ve been a member for 3 years and it just keeps on getting better. Cherry on top - the staff. They’re exceptional. Negative experience: Quite disappointed, I am looking for the gym in Tauranga and was thinking to show up and look around. But Couldn't get in before 11am even though it says on the front door that stuff hrs Saturday-Sunday from 10am to 1pm.

Positive experience: Anytime Fitness Tauranga on Chapel Street is a great gym if you're after a clean, well-equipped space that’s open 24/7. It's a single floor building, easy to access with your key fob, and never feels too cramped—especially outside of peak evening hours, when it does get a bit busy but eases up quickly. The gym has a nice layout with everything you need: cardio gear, free weights, machines, and a functional training zone. There’s also a separate room with purple lighting that’s perfect for solo workouts, stretching, or even just catching a chill vibe. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere’s good, and it suits all levels from beginners to more serious lifters. The only thing to note is that when it rains really heavily, there can be a few leaks inside. Nothing major, just something to be aware of, still totally usable and safe, but worth mentioning. Overall, it’s a reliable and convenient gym with solid equipment, flexible hours, and a great location.

Negative experience: Showers are cold every morning. Would be nice if this could get sorted before the winter. It's not very pleasant considering the price we pay each week. Feeling a bit ripped off.

Positive experience: When is the fan at the back of the room going to be fixed it’s been broken for months. Unless you stand directly in front of it it’s a waste of time it is the middle is summer it’s hot & sweaty we need this fan working please thanks J9

Fantastic experience: The best gym! The staff are all super friendly and always welcoming! There is lots of space and equipment that is always kept nice and tidy. The group fitness classes are lots of fun and a great way to meet people/smash your workouts! Pilates classes runs a twice a week too which is a great bonus I would totally recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: 24 hours so I can go to avoid crowds. You can also attend any of the gums in the country using your tag. Plenty of equipment and free weighs and also a group fitness room where you can do a class anytime. Great value for money

Fantastic experience: Great gym with great community. Staff are friendly and approachable. I live kinda out of the way but like this gym and I am happy to make the trip. It's not perfect but nothing is... could do with a tricep press and a Nautilus machine, and perhaps a couple of members need to learn how to clean up after themselves and not make such a mess on the bathroom floor after a shower but apart from that this is a fantastic gym would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Trained here before and just signed back up again. The environment is awesome, staff are great, nice equipment.... I do miss the dip machine they use to have. My biggest thing I don’t like is some members just don’t know how to put things back and it can definitely be annoying for people so some kinda policing would be nice but otherwise I highly recommend it

Positive experience: I only go here once a week, but have developed quite a liking for this place. Spacious, well equipped, clean showers. I also like the large area that's ideal for CrossFit, calisthenics, and other non-weights workout. My only comment would be, get a deck for deadlifts!

Positive experience: Sauberes Gym mit guten Geräten und aufgeräumten Freihantel-Bereich. Der Mitarbeiter war freundlich und hat uns 1x gratis trainieren lassen (keine Garantie dafür). Es gibt einen Wasserspender dafür aber keinen Spint um seine Sachen zu sichern, weshalb ich einen Stern abgezogen habe.
