Fantastic experience: Two years ago my son started training at Grappling HQ. I could not recommend sending your kids here enough. My son was at the end of his first year of school (which he hated) and had not much interest in anything else… fast forward to training twice a week at Grappling HQ with the guidance and support of Chris a switch flick. He soon became determined to be just as good all the kids better than him and this changed his mindset completely. He wanted to train hard on the mats and wanted to be better. He now is entering grappling competitions and doing amazing. This same mindset has had the same effect at school and I have noticed a huge change in himself. Thanks so much Chris for everything you do for him! Appreciate it so much.

Fantastic experience: Our almost 9yr old is in his 2nd term and thoroughly enjoys Grappling. He has developed in his confidence which is one of the things we hoped for and self esteem is slowly following.. We've also sent our 10yr old this term much to our 9yr old's disappointment given the typical sibling rivalry and competition that goes on between them but that's why we sent 9yr old first so as to give him a head start on his brother lol. Grappling is GREAT for kids! Send your kids down it's totally worth it and great coaches too

Fantastic experience: The adults fundamentals class is super fun!! The coaches are all friendly and have a wealth of knowledge and experience - they make it really easy to follow along. Everyone is really welcoming and kind. As a woman I’ve never once felt awkward or uncomfortable, it’s like walking into a friends home - such a good vibe! So I really recommend grappling HQ to everyone who wants to give grappling a go. Especially women and girls who are wanting some fun and functional training whilst also learning self-defence and skills for life :)

What the boys have created is a stellar culture of excellent technique, amazing sparring and a warm and inviting environment to ask questions and learn as a group. Classes are well structured, focusing on solid technique that is clearly and succinctly explained. It's obvious the coaches are passionate about the success of each and everyone of the team. I have trained at a few places and feel very lucky that I have found this team to be a part of. If you've trained before and are keen to check it out I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.
