Our comment from FitFit New Zealand about Mount Albert Aquatic Centre:
The Mount Albert Aquatic Centre is a fantastic destination for families looking for a fun and active day out in Auckland. Visitors have praised the centre for its wide range of facilities, which include a wave pool, hydroslide, family hot pools, and a toddler pool, making it ideal for children of all ages. The warming water and attentive staff add to the overall delightful experience, making it a favourite spot for many families.
Many users appreciate the friendly and helpful staff that make each visit enjoyable, as well as the cleanliness of the main pool facilities. Positive reviews mention that even during busy times, such as school holidays, it remains a manageable spot with plenty of enjoyable activities for kids. The accessible parking and budget-friendly pricing are additional highlights.
However, some users have expressed concerns regarding hygiene and management issues that need addressing. Occasional reports of unclean changing rooms and a lack of staff awareness of organised activities have dampened some experiences. In particular, frequent heavy traffic and overcrowding during peak times were notable concerns, along with reports of miscommunications regarding swimming lessons and pool capacity, which left some customers feeling frustrated.
Overall, while the Mount Albert Aquatic Centre offers great attractions and moments of joy for families, it would benefit from improved management and maintenance to ensure a consistently pleasant experience for all visitors. Make sure to check for peak times to avoid overcrowding and ensure a wonderful day at the pool!

Mount Albert Aquatic Centre: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Good for swimming
Fantastic experience: Still a great place to take kids. Wasn't too busy even in the school holidays. Hydroslide is height based and my average sized 3.5 year old was just tall enough. Toddler pool is warmer and has its own little slide. Family hot pool is a nice touch.
Negative experience: Dear Centre Manager I wanted to share an unfortunate experience I had at the centre this evening, as I believe it could help improve future interactions. As a member and a participant in the swimming lessons, I arrived for my usual 6:00 PM class. After scanning in(where I should've been stopped) and getting changed, I proceeded to my lane, where the lifeguard informed me she was unsure whether the lessons were still taking place. She suggested I check with reception. Upon speaking with the receptionist, I was informed that the term had ended due to the school holidays, and that I had missed my last two lessons, which could not be rebooked. While I understand this policy, I was interested in purchasing a multi-pass and appreciated the help the usual receptionist gave me in navigating the app, as I hadn’t signed up before. However, as I was still in my swimwear and needed to quickly change, I felt quite uncomfortable when another staff member, who I believe may have been a manager, rather abruptly asked me to pay first before I could enter the changing room. I had not yet made up my mind about whether to book more lessons or purchase a multi-pass, and the pressure of having people queueing behind me while trying to make a decision left me feeling uneasy. Ultimately, I decided to leave the premises and explained the situation to the staff in charge. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but I felt this situation was handled poorly, and I wanted to bring it to your attention in the hopes that it can be addressed for future situations. You have just lost a valued customer. Thank you, Seth
Fantastic experience: My kids (& I!!) loved the hydroslide, wave pool & lazy river. Water nice & warm. Happy with changing rooms too. Our new favourite
Fantastic experience: As a senior I attend this centre 3 times a week & so happy to come every time. The staff at the centre & the Cafe a very helpful. Only one issue I had when I rang the centre to see if my class lesson was on but was told it was canceled only to find out on my next visit that it wasn't, so I went to inquire & they apologized due to new staff which was understandable cause know one is perfect.
Positive experience: The place is great to be...I am learning to swim..but had really bitter experience yesterday around 7:10...one of the staff wanted around 7 people in one row while all other row was really empty...and when we said him that we gonna hit on each other while swimming as it's over crowded he propesly increase the level of water making us hard to swim...also he was kind of full of himself....they way he behave was not good at all
Fantastic experience: I arrived and it was very very hot where you pay but not to bad. I went on the hydroslide and it was the best experience ever.
Positive experience: Swam 14 lengths. Hoping to do more than 14. It's a very busy pool but doable for what I want.
Positive experience: The venue is generally acceptable, although it can occasionally become excessively congested. Overall, it is a satisfactory option.
Positive experience: Nice pool, spa, sauna, toddlers area, hydroslide. Seating area does get very hot though. Unpleasantly hot
Positive experience: The pool itself with the lanes was not bad, however there were many other problems. I bought a subscription to this particular pool because I saw blocks in the pool on Google map, I needed them to practice diving, but it turns out you can’t use them (since they are not the property of the pool). Another big problem is the changing rooms and their cleanliness. The shower floor is clearly in need of repair. The water in the shower can be cold and they are clearly not going to solve this problem (they just put up a sign that the water in the shower can be cold). The locker rooms are dirty and unpleasant to go into. I also encountered a violation of my privacy as a group of people in the changing room were filming on TikTok in areas where people change clothes and take a shower. The staff is quite nice and friendly. Changed: two times was enough for me to understand that I paid the money in vain, on workdays there is always a swimming school there and there are only 2 non-reserved lanes on which about 10 people swim. Terrible.
Positive experience: The family changing rooms were digusting. Vomit on the floor and tissues everywhere. The floor in the sitting area by the Cafe was also covered in food. The water quality in the toddler pool seemed very cloudy compared to the wave pool. Great place for kids with the river pool and family pool but the place just needs to be cleaned up.
Negative experience: Staff don't reply to emails or return phone messages. No point having a number and email address if you're not going to respond. Would give 0 star if I could.
Positive experience: I luv, luv our local pool. It's a haven for most who come. We enjoy the social aspect, the great staff & aroha & community here. If your bothered with the lanes being cluttered then avoid early mornings when MAGS Mr Albert Grammar trains till 9am. But we make do & utilise the other pool if we want quiet. The spa & steam or sauna are a pretty good reward after a swim. There is a spa right beside the kiddie pool but it is important to supervise when your child/children is/are in the pool. Josh gets a special mention for doing a great job. Well-done you!
Negative experience: total 8 lane but 6 lane have been reserved, only 2 lane for over 10 people to share it?terrible
Positive experience: Great place. Been bringing my kids here for years. Be sure to call and book during these times as there is a limit on how many people can be let in as it is always full, especially during the holidays
Negative experience: Lifeguards always chatting and never paying attention. One time I went, someone was literally vaping in the main pool and once reported to reception nothing was done. I’m surprised there hasn’t been more drownings, I wouldn’t deem this a safe pool. Luckily my babies take swimming lessons.
Positive experience: Great pool but no rules to anything. Kids unsupervised. When you talk to workers they seemed annoyed to be disturbed from talking to each other and no actions from them to follow up.
Negative experience: Gotta wonder about the safety of this place, given the recent news stories about that kid nearly drowning. I wouldn't be taking my kids there, that's for sure. Way too lax about the toddler drowning, playing down the fact that the guard skipped an important step (clearning the airway) before performing chest compressions, that a visiting doctor had to step in to actually be the one to save the child's life...you can't have your staff standing around on phones and listening to earphones and vaping and chatting to each other while they're supposed to be watching children. Also parents, watch your kids! You've got one job! It's water! It's danger! And you sit there like it's a day at the park?! It's not a bit of grass! It kills! Never in my life... Things go wrong so fast! And you're going to blame the likely teenage guards for you not watching your kid 100% of the time? Would you trust a random teen to drive your car? Why trust them to watch your kid if they clearly aren't doing their job when you get in there? Beggars belief. Massive overhaul needed in the training of both the public and the staff. After reading g some other comments, this place should be shut down. If they can't afford to have proper training and routines, they shouldn't be open.
Negative experience: I'm deeply concerned about the safety of the swimming pool. It's not just the recent incident where the lifeguard seemed unprepared to rescue a drowning child, or the management's misguided praise of the lifeguard instead of the off-duty doctor who actually saved the child. The facility itself is old and poorly maintained. The wave pool and toddler pool have sharp edges that often cause cuts to visitors' feet. Due to these incidents, my family and I have since stopped visiting this place.
Positive experience: Good value for $$ if you're looking for warm, family-friendly pools in Auckland and don't want to fork out $100 for parakai. It is small and the carpark is found by driving through the school entrance (albert grammar next door) otherwise there is parking on the street. Family spa heats up to 37 degrees. Also there is a hydro slide and waves generator. Small cup of Hot chips are $6.
Negative experience: on the wall, the price list shows "adult $8.6, child $6.2". however when I took my 12y old son to this place, an old Asia face lady at reception desk charged me $8.6 for my son. $2 difference is not much. But you deserve this one star review
Negative experience: Nice range of pool activities, but very small facility, oversubscribed and poor quality changing facilities that show their age. Secure lockers out of order. My daughter had some personal property stolen.
Fantastic experience: Friendly, knowledgeable, patience and accommodating staff members. Parking can be scarce at times though a few on street parking are available. Pricing is quite competitive. Have some fun facilities such as water slide for small children, wave pool, and spa. On weekend mornings, the pool might be limited as most of the lanes are used for the swim school. The swim school teachers are friendly, caring, attentive and passionate. They gently and firmly push the children to improve.
Negative experience: Utterly unbelievable services, normally with its uncleanness and crowd never triggered me to write a review. I'm grateful there is a community-friendly pool nearby and providing a pool is expensive. Turned up at 11:30 a.m. and nothing was communicated on arrival and paid, then realised that there was a scheduled event until 2 p.m. All lanes of the pool were completely occupied. Very conveniently, there's an update on the website and a notice (very invisible) to inform me of that. I think managers and staff need to know that people actually put an effort into getting there and it can be expensive for them, and they would like to be at the least reminded before paying. What do you think your job is at the receiption? To stand or sit there be pretty or to provide information for people who are paying for your wages?
Negative experience: Went twice to the wave pool on both time my daughter caught nits from the pool
Negative experience: Come here every month or so and the lifeguards are always mucking around, not even looking at the pool. Can be very busy and yet still lifeguards look bored and unfocused. Not sure what best practice is in the lifeguarding industry but imagine this is far from it. Facilities aren’t bad and pools aren’t bad during non-peak times but the staff here really let the place down.
Fantastic experience: Had a birthday party here. Super friendly staff at Beans Cafe, thanks Hugo for arranging everything. It was so hassle free. The Staff at the pools were awesome too. Highly recommend for an easy, fun and memorable birthday for your kids.
Fantastic experience: Great pool to take the kids. All the happy people are at the bottom of the waterslide. Love it
Positive experience: I have some great memories here- it's fun for all ages there's a kids pool, a slide and a diving area, a 2 meter deep pool, two hot pools, one only for adults, 2 saunas and at least 3 lanes for swimmers as some can be used for swimming training
Negative experience: What a joke. They advertised the aqua aerobics classes starting back from the 8th of Jan - I showed up along with several other people for the evening class on the 9th, we were all waiting by the lanes for it to start, eventually after the class was supposed to have started 5 min ago I asked a lifeguard when it was going to start and he said there was no class. I told him what about all the signs that say its on tonight and also your reception lady whos taking payments from the people for the class and he just said "I don't know". I then went back out to the reception and asked the lady what's happening with the class and she said "I don't know" I asked does anyone have any idea what's going on? Is there a manager I can talk to and ask? to which she said no they went home. So despite all the signs saying classes have begun, they have not. I also spoke to several other people awaiting the class and they said they had called today to confirm the class would be on tonight and were told that it would be. So what the heck is going on? how does not one staff member have a clue what's happening? why have all the signs with the date and time on it if you aren't going to have the class! an absolute joke and a waste of people's time and money. These people couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.
Fantastic experience: Great fun, cheap and not busy (10am) food and ice creams available, adult only spa too.
Fantastic experience: My local swimming pool, good lanes, temperature of the pools not too cold. Sauna/spa/steam room Facilities Pretty clean what more can you ask Prices have gone up over the years but it is what it is. Sterling arnet Kakapo business sales
Positive experience: Nice and cute wave pool in the heart of Auckland city. Kids will love the slide (better than expected) and wave pool (quite small) waves activated every 1 hour for about 5 min. Facility shows its age
Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic experience for kids, they loved the tunnel slide and enjoyed the waves. There are plenty of space in changing rooms and i loved the family room it's perfect with little kids.
Positive experience: Good little ones pool. Discount for special needs. Wave pool is very popular. Also has lane pools.
Negative experience: There is no rule in the pool area, everyone can jump into the water without suitable swimming wearing. It's not a clean area as well
Positive experience: they jam pack it...should consider limiting numbers at a time and adults only sessions for specific times.
Negative experience: 感觉很差 很小 我们第一次来 等了一个小时 刚来说游泳池很多人 半个小时后没有多少人了 还要接着等 无语
Negative experience: 禁止外带食物的政策非常混乱,吃饭时间很多人都在吃外带的食物,但工作人员会歧视性的驱赶个别客人,而不是所有违反的人
Negative experience: The staff were very rude and incompetent, the registration forms for swimming lessons were lost, and the management was disorganized.
Negative experience: Extremely poor customer service, getting scolded by one of the staff at reception, I was waiting to be get in to the pool after waiting for one hour in the waiting list, just asked the staff why she let people at the bottom of the waiting list in first and being scolded by her and said stop questioning her, extremely not happy about the experience!!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful friendly helpful staff do a wonderful job very vigilant Clean tidy changing rooms Mt Albert has to be most family friendly aquatic Centre Auckland Grand children love these wave pools excellent tasty food reasonably price recommend to freunds
Positive experience: The price is 3 times more expensive than the wave henderson, the water is not as clean as expected, but kids had fun, that's what matters the most!
Negative experience: To much chlorine in the water. It takes more then a day to get rid of the chlorine. Lightened my swimming togs in just a couple of swim days in the pool.
Positive experience: My First time come to this pool this summer, wait outside for half hour due to full capacity notification, but when I return at the reopen time, a long queue wait from reception till the gate, after few minutes I decided to go to other pool,
Positive experience: Friendly staff. Place is a bit run down. Family showers - one of them has a hole in the tiles round the shower tap. Pool very busy when school students are swimming, and public lanes sometimes drop the 3 (including a walking lane) which is a bit disappointing.
Negative experience: I rang the staff around 9:30 to ask whether the wave pool is working and she didn't inform me that the pool was in full capacity, wasting my time driving all the way from home to find the pool is full, they should put a sign on the road to inform the customers that the pool is full so people don't waste time walking to the reception finding that the pool is full.
Negative experience: This is the most disgusting swimming pool I have ever visited. Tampons in the ladies changing rooms, smell of pee in the family changing rooms and mould on the walls. I only went in for a shower which cost me 3 dollars.
Negative experience: WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced !!! Katherine is Extremely rude and unprofessional ! Language barrier could be the case for her . Shouldn’t be working at the front desk if you can’t speak to your customers properly! SHAME on you !
Negative experience: Wave's haven't been working in ages. Plus the staff are all quite sassy and rude. This place dosent seem very friendly to be honest.
Negative experience: Not a very good place for adults as their sauna has been out of action for free months they say they're waiting on a parts when they can just buy a brand new sauna stove her in nz they would have trouble there money by now not very cool for local who rely on it
Fantastic experience: Amazing staff. Helpful and friendly. I lost my Apple Watch and they wouldn’t even take a reward after fishing it out and returning in safely to me. Thanks guys
Fantastic experience: Great swimming pool with good range of facilities. We love sauna and hot pool, kids love slides and swimming lessons. Very friendly and professional staff.
Negative experience: Went on Saturday to find out they are close…..went again on Sunday to find out they are closed again for maintenance♂️♂️♂️.. I mean you can do your “maintenance” during weekdays and let it open for public on weekend…I think the management needs more maintenance than the pool itself… not a good idea to decline 2 consecutive days…that too in weekend….
Positive experience: One of the nicest pools I've taken my child to. The slide is great and the wave pool is a highlight.
Fantastic experience: We live in west auckland and came over due yo queues at west wave. Glad we did as kids had a blast and want to back :)
Negative experience: Nice spot for the kids… however the waiting situation is awful. Very often when arriving on the weekend it’s a minimum 90m wait. No booking system, no ability to read numbers live. Needs some technology investment big time.
Negative experience: Been here twice in the last two weeks and both times turned away as ‘at capacity.” Told its about staff and covid. You’d think in the busiest time of the year the place would be more organised. Disappointed children.
Positive experience: Super packed, but overall, great time had by the kids...pity people store bags on seats and don't care about non swimmers
Negative experience: Facility is highly unclean and thoroughly disgusting. Manager seems to spend a suspicious amount of time loitering in the men's bathrooms.
Positive experience: I well like to know do the Adults people when they come to sauna do the need to bring a towel when the use the sauna ? Some Adult they come in they not follow the ruols the make the sauna smell very bad and they make it look like steam room and the arguing like a baby :)
Fantastic experience: I visited pool today, it all looked clean and sparkling. The staff are there to make sure everyone is safe in the water, not clean up after messy patrons.
Negative experience: Literally always at capacity. Don't even think making the trip here after 10am on the weekend as it would be a waste of your time. 3 weekends in a row now that we had to turn around (or face being on a 1hr+ waiting list to get in with 100s of others)
Fantastic experience: The smartest pool layout for parents with young kids. Perfect you kids birthday parties as well. We were skeptical but it was great!
Negative experience: Terrible unprofessional staff, Screaming on little kids, Unacceptable behaviour. Send them to work at prisons in third world countries. This is not New Zealand culture .. Please provide your staff customer service and basic human skills to deal with people. Specifically caucasian male in his 30s who wear glasses and was deployed around main pool area between 1700-1730 has been treating kids in ultra aggressive manner.
Negative experience: The pool is “full” and you are not letting anyone in until 2pm with plenty of people is waiting at reception. Whatever your “system” you have in place….. it’s inefficient.
Negative experience: I have been to this place only once. This public pool can be lots of fun for the whole family. However, my Nike slides were stolen in there while I was swimming, so I'm not sure how 'safe' this place is, unfortunately - EDIT: Having left my contact details with an employee, the manager did not bother to contact me.
Negative experience: Went here today . The pool was muggy as . People just walking in off the street and swimming in streetwear pretty much. Life guards weren’t positioned properly and standing around talking in a group rather than watching out for people swimming . Kids were in the wave pool being rough and doing bombs in the shallow end and nobody cared. Also much to my disgust I went to the changing rooms and it smelled like urine and dirty wet sanitary items were just sitting on the floor in the changing cubicles and when telling workers who were sitting at reception they just laughed and tried to push cleaning it onto each other. Definitely will not be using these aquatics again and do not recommend
Fantastic experience: The humidity in the children's main pool and chlorine levels are stifling. I'm not able to last long in there. The main pool is hugely different. Staff are great, Sam is a swim instructor and is great with kid's, Anya is also awesome and very helpful
Negative experience: Ridiculous pricing $141 for 2×2 family and 2x grandparent spectators for 2hours only when the announcement came for all to leave for the next customers. Left with burning eyes. throat and lungs from chlorine inhalation! The place is small and was absolutely not worth it.
Negative experience: took 10 kids there for a swim for my girls birthday today, no signs nothing saying that the wave or slide was closed. that was the whole point of spending the birthday there. DISAPPOINTED N NO DISCOUNT OFFERED ON PRICE EITHER. Staff at reception n one lifeguard were horrible too.
Negative experience: Every employee, lifeguard, or instructor I have seen there has been helpful and accommodating, and the facilities are, when operating, pretty good. However there's clearly some management issues with the wave pool often being closed, lack of alternatives when that happens, and lesson organisation being patchy at times. I get "code browns" don't help, but they seem to happen and incredible amount of times coincidentally to my visits. Other times it's just closed. The pool, operating normally, is at least four stars. It's just something is off at the moment. Maybe it's staffing number issues, in which case accept things as they are - just be careful about planning your days around it.
Fantastic experience: I did a full 5 stars for the amazing weekend customer service i received and the youthful weekend life guards in control of a totally over populated full venue of weekend swimmers. Arrived 5.00pm facilities over populated so family went to local park to not lose carpark. Access available to the pools after 6.00pm. Long line of people waiting to enter. Unable to make phone contact before hand due to weekend business. Swimming in a soup of people no matter what pool you chose. Crazy busy. Only $8.60 pp if u can get in!
Negative experience: Very bad service and I don't recommend this pool to anyone. I even talked to the customer earlier, it was his first time here and he left earlier after 1hr because he said very stink and very bad service. He told his boys just 1 hour then they go. There were heaps of customers held up at reception due to them unable to enter the pool. Questioned them where is your written policy to state the maximum amount of customers should be allow in the pool. They refused to show it to customers. Receptionist said they have a lifeguard policy that state the maximum of people. Nothing written on their notice board, no sign to tell customers about the maximum amount of people allowed in the pool. Owner was rude and she even told her staff off infront of many customers. The pool is for your community and they deserve a better service with good communication. Don't even go there. West Auckland is the best service and everything is spot on and no capacity limits.
Positive experience: Great staff, quaint slow hydraslide, and the hottest steam room of all complexes that I've tried yet! Unfortunately the jets on the spa are very very weak. One spa is slightly cooler and kids are allowed in one which is great (compared to some complexes where no kids are allowed in spa at all yet need to be supervised constantly in cold pools like westwave -a solo mother's winter nightmare-) .
Negative experience: Recently I have been to the Mt Albert Swimming Pool and found a couple of problems: 1, The steam room is too hot and it will cause health issues for the customers. 2, The lights in steam and sauna room have been out of work for more than six months and it is unsafe. It is appreciated if you could solve the problems as soon as possible as a healthy and safe recreational place is necessary for all the customers. Kind regards Andy
Negative experience: It was exceptionally crowded every day. The swimming lanes are on loan most of the time, there are only two lanes and sometimes there are five or six people swimming together in one lane most of the time. Lots of children who don't swim were also in the pool rather than the play area, and the staff didn't really care. The female changing rooms had a very distinct smell of urine.
Negative experience: I don't like to post publicly but hygiene at the pool today was worse than usual. They are completely out of toilet paper. The lifeguards who are apparently in charge of ordering said there is none at all. Ordering systems were blamed. Realistically this is a health and safety issue. Hundreds of people use this facility. It should be shut until toilet paper is provided. My issue is not with the staff who are doing their best in poor circumstances. It's bad enough that there is a layer of scum around the pools, the floors are grimy and hairy, the showers yuk. But this tipped the balance. I had high hopes with the new manager. He needs to manage. And for goodness sake, why not pop out to the supermarket and buy some toilet paper?!
Positive experience: Place is definitely focused around kids.Children pools and slide and wave pool is great, also the lane pool is cool. What I did not like was the steam room was really unclean,on the lower walls it looked quite dirty.I don't know if it was mould or not,but I only went in maybe 3 times then I couldn't take it any more and just went home because it was quite nasty. The staff need to really keep this place cleaner(especially in such a damp area such as a steam room). The temperature in the steam room was great tho, really nice and hot. The Sauna was underwhelming as far as temperature goes,it was quite clean tho.The adult spa pool could also be a bit hotter to my taste. So if you go there with the intent for the children to have fun and have a blast it's probably the place for you.
Fantastic experience: Great aqua place for kids. Three level of pools, three level of temperature.
Positive experience: A lot for the family packed into a small facility. Nice spas and hydro slide and river pool. Cafe looked ok though didn't use it. Wave pool not going it appears this time so best to check if that's important. Family and changing rooms seem a bit tired but showers were good.
Positive experience: The wave pool is very nice and it is fun to dive into the deep pool. I would recommend going at least once. However, the cleanliness of the centre is non existent. It is very gross in the changing rooms, and the toilets. Hopefully the issue with hygiene can be resolved.
Fantastic experience: The children loved being there, played for 3 hours non-stop.
Positive experience: Very warm inside if you are spectating! Waves are very lacklustre in the wave pool. Good clean facilities suitable for all ages.
Fantastic experience: Great fun Hydroslide. The spa sauna and steam room great heat. This place is good for all ages.
Fantastic experience: Great place. Facilities look and smelt clean. Kids really enjoyed the bombing area and slide. Parking was a breeze.
Fantastic experience: Haven't been for over 10 years still a good outing heads up if you a spectator like I was.. wear shorts and t shirt or cool clothing it's hot in there
Negative experience: I am local. The swim pool female shower is cold even we have complained over 5 year the management team seems never improve anything , and female shower is open, no any privacy , steam room often break down, limited plug for hair dryer. So eventually I have to choose other far away swim pool even I live here
Positive experience: Nice hydroslide and wave pool; good pools for little ones, and heated pools for adults to relax. Not a large complex, and it does get busier after 11. Go early if you like a quieter experience.
Fantastic experience: Awesome little setup with wave pool, spa pool, sauna, proper lap swimming pool, toddler pool with splash buckets, bombing pool, and waterslide! Friendly staff, very attentive life guards, good seating which you can move around a bit. Cafe was OK but very busy. Packed in school holidays but we managed to find a park. Just be aware that the entrance from the road is through a Mt Albert Grammar school gate which is slightly confusing
Positive experience: Kids loved it so I was happy Toddler pool, spa, sauna and steam, adult and family hot tub, waterslide, swimming lanes in a separate area, a slow current area and of course the wave generator...could be cleaned more often in the changing area but otherwise not too bad. Cafe onsite wasn't too bad...hot chips was nice and hot but lacked flavor and the Dad's Army pies were fine too...pricier because not a council pool...Great place to bring kids or have a break yourself....
Fantastic experience: Despite the short staff issues, the front staff are doing exceptionally well. Be it managing one off visitors as ourselves or be it managing safer boating programs, Thess and her team are not missing a single beat. Thess even gave us a parking display pass that we quite appreciated. Thanks again folks. We will be back again soon. Thanks for the amazing fun at the hydro slides. Kids loved it…
Positive experience: Kids had loads of fun here. Nice that there's enough seats for parents to stay outside the pool and an option to buy good and drinks. Changing rooms are a bit dated and parts are under construction/renovation at the moment.
Positive experience: Lots of fun for kids and lifeguards are vigilant but not silly like Albany. They let kids enjoy themselves and don't sit monitoring parents. Lovely experience. Safe but relaxed. Enjoyable for parents too. Food on-site and nice chairs around pool.
Positive experience: Very nice pool
Positive experience: Always a blast when we go there awesome staff aswell my big girl loves it and is so familiar with the pools shes a bit too confident...
Negative experience: I was really disappointed & shocked how filthy & unclean it was. The change rooms are disgusting. I would recommend that the public areas are cleaned multiple times each day.
Positive experience: Great clean facilities, massive pool, wave pool, sauna and hot spa. They also have a little canteen with food and drinks. Best to research best times as can be very busy with the wave pool and school holidays etc. Only 4 stars as was very crowded when I went.
